Van's Refrigeration and Appliance Repair

I didn't have any experience finding refrigerator repair services in Aurora at all - I checked Angie's List and found Van's Refrigeration - I called and asked that a repairman come out ASAP to fix a refrigerator that would not cool at all - fears of a bad compressor and large expense were on my mind. The service call was to cost $54.95 if no repair was done and would be waived if repaired. That seemed reasonable, so I set an appointment for a 4 hour interval that afternoon. The repairman was punctual and quickly got to work diagnosing the problem, while vacuuming dust from behind the fridge - the dust had been a factor in the problem. He found a relay switch and overload was fried and replaced them. He then checked out the dishwasher and determined it would be cheaper to buy a new one. We were very pleased with his professionalism and the effort he took to leave the work area cleaner than he found it. It was great that his truck was stocked with the parts that he needed so there was no delay in repairing the fridge. He waived the service charge and took an online coupon to defray the expense. Thanks to our repairman and to Angie's List for a nice Thanksgiving outcome!
