Pricing was fair, service was quick, patio project turned out great. Dave was great to work with and was even able to squeeze in our project to get it done much quicker than anticipated. Not only did they do a concrete patio, but also did an overlay on steps to make them look new. Definitely would work with them again on future projects.

I hired Sam the Concrete Man to replace my driveway and porch and steps last August 2018. There were imperfections in the driveway (it is a 4-car driveway and it dips to the center, not level), however it looks OK. The porch and steps were terrible. The porch sides were not straight, the front edge of the porch bowed (placed a flat board across the front edge and when it touched in the middle it did not touch on either side, left or right). The steps were even worse; they were not level, they dipped in the middle. When I called them to come look at the work, at first I was told it looks like the steps got away from them. The sealer was so thick, the porch and steps ALWAYS looked like it just rained (wet). Sam s originally said that we would let the sealer cure and if I still was not happy, they would tear them out and replace. Well, I was not happy, and they did not stand up to their word. My yard was torn up by equipment, 2/3 in the front. I was told that my yard was very healthy and it will grow back, they also said they would bring topsoil for the damage and I never saw any dirt. At corporate, I think he was corporate, it was suggested that I get a railing to help hide the way they looked. I asked two of the higher ups if they would put the porch & steps at their house and neither one answered. I strongly recommend that you get another contractor. I had to hire another contractor for more money and I now have a beautiful porch and steps. Cincinnati, OH

The workmanship on our outdoor steps was outstanding. We love our new steps. However, the communication from the company was not great on several occasions. I think they had more work than they could handle due to an anniversary special discount deal. But, the men worked hard & finished up the steps quickly.

Rudy was always available for questions. The front office was very knowledgeable and quick to provide a response to questions. The work crew was nice and cleaned up the job site. We had a family party on the patio two weeks after the job and the extra room was wonderful. Thank you!

This was a complete tear out of walkway and front porch. It was stamped and colored in 2 days. We needed help to figure out what exactly to do, and what colors would look best. They were professional and helpful and it turned out very nice.

I had a lot of estimates. Sam&s was at the Garden Show and he is on your list. I thought I made the right choice. I did not. They came on time, broke up the old concrete, framed it in. Good so far! The concrete truck came and they poured it in a timely way. then everything went south. The most important part was awful. It was to be a brush finish with a sealant applied. the finish is very rough with a lot if tiny holes. The sealant is sprayed on and it got on my siding and it will not come off. I didnt see this until the next day as I could not get into the backyard. The sealant was a hit and miss. Mostly miss. It rained the next day it seemed to disappear and is spotty. I waited a week before I called them to make sure it was dry. I called my sales rep and he didnt come but he sent Todd the supervisor. He was rude and did not see anything wrong. He said it had to cure for a year. Told me I was expecting a different outcome. I told to leave, I think he was not the least bit interested in the subject. It is rough and difficult to walk on. I saw job with the brush finish. it was perfect. Mine doesnt even come close. I would never use them again. I called the sales rep again. Ask him to come and look at it, told him I was going to give them a bad review on HomeAdvisor. He did not return my call or come and look. This not a happy ending.

Project started Oct 2017,still incomplete. Sales-Matt Harvey advise Sam Concrete staff would do all the work. all work was sub-contracted out to Blakenship Excavaution. They 1st removed incorrect address driveway, neighbor, then provided shoddy/inferior work on my driveway requiring Sam Concrete to hire another sub-contractor to replace front steps and walk way. In doing do they damage the house siding, front door trim which needs to be replaced,primed and repainted. Upon inspection by Regioanl Manager Rudy Peckman a financial discount was offered and agreed upon. emails exchanged for revised contract and releases from sub contracted work against mechanic liens Sam Concrete offered a lesser discount. At this time work is not complete, there are repairs needed to front of house, lien releases, upon measurement there are multiple areas where concrete depth does not meet contracted depth.

The workers were very professional and did a great job

We had a terrible experience with the project manager while having a new driveway installed. He only came to see how the work was going when we called the owner and complained. The project manager told us the job would be done in 5 days and it took 3 weeks. He kept blaming his workers for all the delays but would not come evaluate the work when we asked him to. We had to keep hounding him to get his workers to come to work. Days would go by withouth them working at the house. We were told they had other jobs going on and had to work at other locations. The project manager slapped on one coat of driveway sealer and it looks blotchy and undeven. It looked terrible. Now we have to pay over $1000 to have it stripped off and resealed by another company.

This company was extremely reasonable, easy to work with and always did as they said they would. They are knowledgeable and will explain the process clearly; including what to think about even if I hadn't chosen their company. After my consultation, I was well informed and prepared to move forward with this project and they beat my expectations on how easily this would unfold. They got my my project quickly and the final cost was not a penny more than they quoted. Great job!

They were great! I had a little trouble communicating with them after I hired them to make a new driveway, but they did very fine work. The ready-mix-truck cracked my old driveway, but Sam's crew did a really good job fixing that. The final product looks very nice.

They skip very important steps cureing concrete and sealing. They are also slow to respond to complaints. My patio was not evenly stamped and the saw cut lines were jagged and chipped. Nothing was was done in spite of my complaints. I'm stuck with a very low class job.
