Ray Ramirez said it would cost about $500. After a couple of weeks, he says he is having trouble finding a door with the same fire rating. A couple of times it took him a week to call me back. Then he stopped calling back completely. I checked with the city fire inspector and found out that there is nothing special about the fire rating on my door. Two months after the initial estimate, I had to get other estimates. One was for $1700 and the other was for $1000. I ended up using the guy that charged a $1000 and he did a great job. I suspect Ray figured out he under bid the job. Instead of telling me it would be more and giving me a new quote, he just stopped returning my calls. Later after looking at his business card, I find out he doesn't list an address, email address or any other contact information besides a phone number. I would not suggest someone use him.
Description of Work: Ray Ramirez gave me an estimate to replace my front door of my condo.
