My wife and I had a very pleasant experience working with R4 Roofing and Exteriors. Graham and Joe were very helpful. They thoroughly explained what to expect from start to finish, took care of the insurance claim, and streamlined the entire process. They dealt directly with our insurance company (they even got more money to cover the solar panel removal/re-installation), and coordinated the gutter removal and replacement, garage door replacement and solar panel issues. We had hired our own painting contractors beforehand, and they gladly accommodated the painter s schedule. They were extremely organized and communicated with us proactively. We highly recommend them. And Joe has one of the sweetest dogs ever. A super-friendly Border Collie that will gently put her arm around your leg and give you a hug. What a sweetie!

I had 2 people bid the project, and Joe's quote was for significantly less. His crews were very nice to deal with and did a superb job of tear down, trash removal, and replacement. I am chemically sensitive, and the last time I had an asphalt shingle roof replaced, I was ill for 6 months. Joe was very helpful in getting me samples of EcoStar shingles, which have a lot fewer VOCs, to sniff test, and so I could choose a color. He was willing to install this non-standard roof, and to use a specific low VOC ice and water shield. As a result, I was not sick after this replacement. He also organized gutter replacement, which went flawlessly, and replaced 4 skylights. There were some problems with the sky lights, and he called in the dealership to repair the problems, which have now been fixed. I think the measure of a business is in how they deal with the problems that come up. Joe did an excellent job making sure that everything was done to my satisfaction.

Ive been through two hail-related roof replacements in the last 15 years. The industry now seems to want to get between the customer and the customers insurance company and manage the billing. Thats inappropriate.

"Steve it is unfortunate that you feel negatively about the direction of the roofing industry when it comes to the insurance claim process but I don't know how that relates to us? Not sure how we got in between you and your insurance carrier as we gave you a cash price to complete your project. We also had no problem waiting until the final inspection had passed to receive payment even though the building department was running 8 weeks behind. We still appreciate the business and are glad we could install a quality roof on your home but we cannot dictate the direction of the insurance restoration industry....."

They listened to me and were accommodating to our schedule. They were kind to our neighbors as well. Our toddler neighbor wanted to crawl in their truck, and they allowed him to and to honk the horn. The kid loved it!

I had both my gutters and roof done and R4 did a AWESOME job. I could not be happier with the quality of the work and the cleanup. Joe R was really helpful and kept good contact during the work period to make sure I knew what to expect and to make sure it was done right. I would recommend them to everyone.
