PRO COMPUTERS

A couple of weeks ago I had some print problems. Not knowing whether it was software or hardware I Took my color laser printer to Pro Computers. I was told that they don’t work on printers, but were willing to look at it to see if they could figure out where the problem was. They couldn’t be sure, not being printer experts, but they found an anomaly in one of the toner cartridges and suggested that I take the printer to a specialty shop. I took the printer to a specialist and he verified Pro Computers’ observation. We replaced the suspect toner, which resolved the problem. The point is that while Pro Computers may not be an expert on all peripherals they were smart enough to leverage their knowledge of printer operations to eliminate potential problems that would have smokescreened a technical outsider like me and to identify a likely cause. I found Pro Computers to honest, economical and resourceful. I’d recommend them to anyone for computer repairs.

I couldn't play DVDs on my laptop, so I took the laptop to ProComputers like I did the last time I had a problem. Vincent kept it for a day and a half. When I arrived to pick it up, he had fixed it and then explained that I would no longer need to take three or four steps to play a DVD. All I had to do as insert the DVD in the slot provided and wait about 15 seconds. I have enjoyed 4 or 5 DVDs since I brought my laptop home 10 days ago - and, just like Vincent said, all I have to do it insert the DVD. He also did some over all computer maintenance, which I really appreciated. I am his customer; he takes care of my computer needs. I would recommend ProComputers to anyone, which I usually do.

I couldn't get my laptop to boot up.  I just had a blank screen no matter what I did.  So I took it to Pro Computers.  Vincent was at the front counter and immediately began looking it over.  It was such a simple fix; I just needed to HOLD the power button down for a few seconds, which I hadn't done. It started right up.
I also told him of a problem I was having when I left it on for more than a half hour or used the Sleep setting .  It would  turn off completely after about a half hour and then give me a message that I would have to restart it. He set up so that I can leave it on all the time, and just close the lid.
Then he answered a bazillion questions with a lot of patience and did not make me feel like a complete idiot. Maybe you've picked up on the fact that I'm not what you would call a computer person.
When I asked for the charge, he said, "Nothing." Can't beat that price. He then explained his prices and how they work. They do on-site visits when necessary.
I really appreciate the fact that Pro Computers will take used computers. Pay for those that have value, just take them to recycle, or maybe charge a nominal fee to take them off your hands.

The owner of Pro-Computers was prompt in his diagnosis and repair. It is obvious he has a tremendous amount of experience.

Vince and Roger were great. They were upfront, told me exactly what they were going to do and were very professional and friendly.
The computer now works great.
