Nan's Acupuncture and Wellness Center

After just a few weeks, my chronic back pain that I had been living with for 16 years after back surgery, was gone. Next to clear up was my digestion. Now, just four months later, everything is cleared up and I feel like a whole new me again. I have energy, sleep well, am regular, no longer depressed, pain is gone. I signed up for a year of wellness and will continue to see him for as long as he is in business. Both Dr. Nan and Dr. Hou are wonderful doctors. They take the time to listen, and really care about your well being. The office staff is friendly and helpful. The whole office feels more like family, really. I feel so blessed to have found them. I only wish I had known of them sooner. I will recommend them to anyone. Nan's really turned my life around, returned it to me, fully.

What I liked about the service is the depth of explanation, but someone being a westerner like me I did not really grasp acupuncture fully until Dr. Nan himself explained it to me. So, he is very informative, thorough and I noticed a difference after two treatments, and I noticed that my overall vitality and health had improved. I cannot wait to get needles stuck in my face again.

Three treatments - 3 days in a row- My husband  is much better.  Dr Nan's practice seems professional and thorough.  My husband is not one to pay for services or to continue service if they are not working. Just the idea that he goes to all his appointments without major complaints or cancelling them shows me that his relief is huge and well paid for.  I have not seen any major pain attack since his visit.  Some have been crippling just the day before his first session.
This is a first for us with acupuncture- we are now BELIEVERS.  We both have worked in western medicine for decades.  Definitely will add accupuncture to our  list of credible medical practices.
When his treatment is done, I am thinking to see Dr Nan for my migraines and low back pain also.

Dr. Nan is a wonderful doctor!  He is very knowledgable about the practices of Easter AND Western medicine.  I plan on going back to him THIS WEEK and would recommend him to anyone seeking an Acupuncturist!

They are fantastic. The care you get is phenomenal. They are clean and have cured so many issues I have had over the years.  I see Dr. Hou. He is very caring. He is very interested in you as a patient. He is interested in getting you well. He is a wonderful human being. He will be in my heart until I die. It is the best thing that has happened to me. There are many things wrong with me that a regular doctor could not help me with. I cannot  say enough about them.

DR. NAN RECOMMENDED THAT ONCE I WAS SYMPTOM FREE, THERE SHOULD BE ABOUT 15 VISITS AFTER THAT POINT TO CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN MY IMMUNE SYSTEM.   I WANT TO ADD THAT, FROM THE BEGINNING, HE WAS ALSO WORKING TO IMPROVE MY SLEEP. SINCE ACUPUNCTURE INVOLVES THE PLACEMENT OF VERY TINY NEEDLES AT SPECIFIC POINTS ALL OVER THE BODY, I BEGAN ASKING HIM TO SIMULTANEOUSLY WORK ON MY DEPRESSION, STRESS, & IRRITABLE BOWEL.  IN OTHER WORDS,  THIS IS A VERY EFFECTIVE, TIME TESTED, POWERFUL FORM OF MEDICINE!!!!!  MY BOWELS, WHICH HAD BEEN IRRITABLE FOR YEARS, IMMEDIATELY STARTED TO IMPROVE!  (IMPORTANT TO SAY I DO NOT HAVE A FEAR OF NEEDLES & I DO NOT FIND THE INSERTION OF SUCH TINY ONES PAINFUL OR FRIGHTENING.)

i ADMIT I HAVE BEEN A BELIEVER IN ALTERNATIVE FORMS OF MEDICINE FOR YEARS.  I RECEIVE REGULAR CHIROPRACTIC CARE WHICH KEEPS ME MOBILE, PAIN FREE, WALKING UPRIGHT, ENERGETIC.
IN MY OPINION, I CAN'T ARGUE WITH GOOD RESULTS.

ACUPUNCTURE IS EXPENSIVE!  DR. NAN COSTS $85/VISIT.  HE DOES ACCEPT SEVERAL FORMS OF INSURANCE
BUT NOT MEDICARE, SO I HAVE HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET.  HE DOES OFFER VARIOUS "PACKAGES" IN WHICH YOU PAY FOR "X # OF VISITS" AND GET "X VISITS FREE".

HIS OFFICE IS  FILLED WITH HELPFUL BROCHURES EXPLAINING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ACUPUNCTURE WITH NURMEROUS CONDITIONS, DEFINITELY BEGINNING WITH PAIN RELIEF FROM MANY CAUSES.  IN FACT, ACUPUNCTURE
GOES AFTER THE CAUSES OF AILMENTS/CONDITIONS, INSTEAD OF DRUGS THAT MASK THE CONDITION
AND ADD TOXINS TO THE BODY.
