~*~*~ PLEASE READ ~*~*~ ***DO NOT buy new units*** ***DO NOT buy new units*** Purchased a new AC unit end of last summer. This thing does not even work. ~$7,500 spent, unit doesn't even function. You guessed it - I called JC's for warranty repair. I have confirmed (via email) 4 separate appointments on 4 different days for them to fulfill and honor the warranty to ensure my brand new AC unit works. Each and every time they are a no-show. Literally, they do not show up. Each and every time it's "oh this guy quit on me this week" or "just lost 2 guys I'm stretched thin". They always say that, be careful. 22 days ago I made my first appointment. 4 appointments later and 22 days later I still have $7,500 missing from my bank account and no AC. I'm sure this place works just fine for repairs or diagnosis, do not buy units from these guys. Turn the other way, and run. Using these guys is the worst financial decision I have ever made. Need professionals in the area? Trust me guys. JC please don't reply. Do not apologize. Don't tell me "how many people quit this week". You've had 22 days since I first told you my new unit installed & purchased by you guys does NOT WORK. If you were sorry you would've shown up on April 18th. If you were sorry you would've shown up on April 27th. If you were sorry you would've shown up on April 28th. If you were sorry you would've shown up on May 2nd. I have since had a professional company come out (they showed-up which was nice) and repair JC's unit for an additional $900. Would have been nice if JC had honored their "warranty" but all good boys! If you have a ton of extra cash laying around and don't mind scheduling 6-7 appointments before these guys show up I would definitely recommend them!

Repeated No-Shows, Price Gouging, and Dodging Accountability – Avoid at All Costs I had a highly disappointing and frustrating experience with JC Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning LLC in Colorado, and I want to help others avoid a similar situation. I hired JC Mechanical to replace about 2 feet of damaged dryer duct in my home. They quoted $3,283, claiming it would require disassembling and reassembling a large section of my HVAC system in the utility room, with at least 8 hours of labor and expensive parts. What actually happened: The technician cut a 12” x 12” hole in the moisture resistant drywall ceiling of a bathroom (not even in the same room as the HVAC system), installed a short piece of $15 flexible dryer duct, and finished the job in under an hour — including the time it took to leave and buy the duct work. The HVAC system was never touched, and the bathroom ceiling was left open and unrepaired. Yet, they charged me the full $3,283 as if they had done the complex work originally quoted. That alone would be bad enough. But the experience was even worse: • They were a complete no-show to their first scheduled appointment. I stayed home all day, called and messaged their office repeatedly — no response. • That evening, they finally called back, apologized, and rescheduled. • At the rescheduled appointment, they were several hours late — again with no notice and no response to my calls. • After the overcharge, I called their office multiple times. I was repeatedly told the owner would call me back — he never did. • Eventually, they blocked my phone number. • When I called from my wife’s phone, they answered, again promised a call back, then blocked her number too. In my opinion, JC Mechanical: • Grossly misrepresented the scope of work to justify an inflated price, • Performed a simple, low-cost repair, and • Then avoided all responsibility once payment was received. This wasn’t just poor service — it was unethical and deceptive. I strongly recommend avoiding this company. If you do consider hiring them, get everything in writing up front, including a detailed scope of work and itemized cost breakdown. Make sure the work quoted matches what’s actually done. And do not make final payment until you're fully satisfied — because once they’re paid, you may never hear from them again.

Bought a $17000 Rheem air conditioning and heater on October 24th. Install was a mess, techs were here until 9pm. Front office had no idea what was going on. It took them a total of 3 days to install the HVAC unit. Failed the inspection, absolutely ridiculous. Today, Nov 25th, at 12:30am, the furnace stopped working its 11 degrees outside. Nixon the service manager came out to look at the furnace, determined the control board is not working. Nixon called the owner Jimmy who said in order to get a new computer board we had to pay for the supply house to open up and they may not even have the part. Jimmy couldnâ t tell us how much it would costs to do this or if the needed pert would be available. Of course we were not happy about us needing to pay for this on a brand new furnace and expressed our frustration to the owner. We asked if they could provide heaters with it being 11 degrees we were worried about the pipes freezing. They refused to bring out heaters and said we would need to wait until the morning. The owner became extremely combative and told us â we were lucky they even came outâ and â he would be sitting back laughing at whatever happens with our situationâ . His own employee, Nixon, said he could defend the owners comments or acts. Strongly recommend that you avoid this company.

Easily the best company we've ever hired for anything. From the first time I called (just before 5pm), every single employee I encountered provided top notch customer service. Dixie & Faith were both very personable and helpful on the phone. I also ended up speaking with Jim, the owner, who was amazing. He made himself available to assist us after hours and was very knowledgeable, patient & reliable. He genuinely cared about trying to get our furnace fixed as quickly as possible. (And that was all before anyone had even walked in my front door.) Then Nixon, the Operations Manager, arrived promptly to assess my furnace. He was incredibly knowledgeable, very respectful, communicative, honest & thorough. He diagnosed the problem, explained the issue to us & provided an honest and reasonable quote. Upon approval, he quickly got the part & repaired it. At no point did Nixon seem even a little bothered by the fact that it was 6pm on a Friday. He patiently answered a couple questions and didn't try to oversell us anything. I am beyond satisfied with every single interaction we had with JC Mechanical. I cannot recommend them enough. I would give them 10 stars for the best customer service we've ever encountered. The incredibly knowledgeable staff & affordable pricing were simply the icing on top. They've earned a customer for life. And I will sing their praises anytime I ever hear someone looking for an HVAC contractor. Top notch across the board! Stop searching & hire them immediately.

JC Mechanical is probably the best HVAC contractor that I have worked with. I had hired a new 24/7 company to come look at my furnace that wasn't igniting. They were there for three hours and it didn't sound like they knew what they were talking about. After that disaster I hired JC Mechanical for a second opinion. They showed up the next morning and properly fixed the issue (throw safety breakers) in five minutes. I will absolutely be using them again.

We had a 22 year old furnace and AC that JC Mechanical replaced. I got 3 estimates, and for similar equipment, theirs was the best price, and they even threw in a couple of repairs and parts for free as part of the work. They finished most of the work in one day, wrapping up the next day. The old system was not installed properly, so the retrofit to the new system took a bit longer than expected. Jim Jr, Mike, and Jim Sr were very professional in their work, making sure they got the installation just right. I would highly recommend this family-owned business.

Jim, his son and his helper Mike did a great job. Very knowledgeable about water boiler systems and took time to explain what he did. He is a perfectionist. Cleaned up afterwards. Very professional. It took a little longer due to our complicated old setup. The new boiler had some new tech which eliminated the need for some parts and he took it off the bill. They also provided space heaters as it was a 2 day job. Great experience. Would definitely hire them again for other HVAC work.

We had a great experience with Jim and JC Mechanical. We got an immediate response to our project inquiry and an offer for someone to come out same day. Jim arrived at the top of the arrival window and performed a straightforward repair that got our heat working. Also, Jim did not charge us for the repair.
