[*** Link removed ***] Here is a video complaint I had to send to the BBB because they just keep sending people to my house. They tried to rip off my 89 year old father.

Liquid aeration had zero positive effect. Was it even performed? My soil is just as compacted, but there's a small Fit Turf sign in my yard, the vegetation has yellowed, and there are dead ladybugs on my driveway. The sign says WARNING PESTICIDES APPLIED which is extremely troubling, since I am 100% against pesticides and I don't have any grass growing in my yard which would possibly need to be defended from pests. The only pests are telemarketers such as those from Fit Turf. Let me explain. I'm a homeowner. The house was built in the seventies, and apparently there was never a lawn here. We're on a hillside and I'm planning to plant some kind of a ground cover to contain erosion. The soil is clay, interspersed with rocks and thick-stemmed weeds. Fit Turf called, and while I was looking around for my digital tape recorder (I record every telemarketer because we've been on both the state and Federal Do Not Call lists for years, yet telemarketers keep calling. Cynthia Coffman needs to start sueing them, like Arizona's attorney general did, to the tune of $1 million dollars this year) I told the guy I have clay soil, I'm on a hillside, and there is no lawn. He told me he was looking at my house on Google Earth and it looked like my lawn needed some TLC. "That's not a lawn. That's weeds. I mow every week so they don't grow tall enough to incur a fine" I explained. He was happy to hear about my weeds, and launched into his Weed Eradication script. I did telemarketing when I was sixteen, and prewritten scripts haven't changed much--they all have an unnaturally stilted perkiness, if that makes sense. Kind of like the auditory equivalent of **** music. Anyway, I ended up agreeing to a one-time only liquid aeration treatment for forty-someodd dollars. I hadn't done any research on liquid aeration treatments, but the concept was appealing considering that I have clay soil and I'm on a hill. The jury's out on whether anything occurred other than weeds yellowing and ladybugs dying, and us sneezing and hacking up phlegm for a few days after the sign appeared in the front yard.

They communicate very well. They tell me when they are coming, are prompt, efficient, and the results are very good. The lawn and the trees are very healthy. Especially the trees, they are really doing well. They even treat iron deficiency in the Maple trees. They turn yellow, they will treat them with iron, then they turn green.

Don't purchase services from Fit Turf. The staff that comes to the house is friendly, the phone staff is friendly, but the service is a bit of scam. My front yard is pretty good, but my back yard and border areas are pretty poor. I gave the company until August to take care of the weeds. Several months of treatments should be enough, right? We it wasn't and I was informed that they don't do refunds and lawn care is not a "magic bullet". Magic would be perfect on the first treatment, and that is not what I was expecting. 3 foot tall weeds and 15 long sections of weeds in my lawn in August is just poor quality control. If the work had gone as expected, the price would have been fine. But the service itself (and the management) were just poor. I did contact them and they did offer to come back, if I was still under contract with them. But that makes no sense. So continue to pay for a service that is being promised and ultimately not delivered is stupid way for any consumer to operate. Also, they offer no refund if they don't deliver. Period. You must pay, but your yard may or may not look better. Lastly, don't ever, ever challenge the "no refund" policy. They'll just hang up on you.

We like their service because they always call ahead to let us know when they will be here. They ask for us to unlock the gate so that they don't have to worry about pets. They are always on time and are very thorough. They give suggestions as to what we need to do with our lawn. They are really good and we like them.

They were okay.  They don’t do sprinkler system.  What we are doing in the past we were using two different services.  We are using Fit Turf for the chemicals that they put in the yards, fertilization and we were using another person for the sprinkler system itself.  They did my other yard last year for 2013.  She did the whole season.  The service cost I guess was probably around $300 for the whole year.  They were okay and I will give them mostly “Bs”.  Price is probably "A" because they are less expensive. You get what you paid for sometimes and paying more this year but I really think this guy knows what he is doing.  They were always on time.  If I had to call them back they did come and called if I had a problem which we did – we had like a fungus or something that we need it a couple extra treatment or trip.  They have to come out and look at it.  Everything was fine.  I think this new guys are a little bit better.  I would say yes probably if I hadn’t found the other person we will probably be using them again.

Mostly what they do is organic. There are a few treatments that they have to use chemicals, but it's very limited. Every time they come, they give you an analysis of how your yard is doing and if they see anything in particular, if they see that there are certain areas that need watering, or if there is a problem, they always make good notes so that we can follow up. Freddy Nuiz is the technician and comes out every time, which is nice too.

service tech was nice but the guy i dealt with on the phone to schedule service talked a good talk but did not schedule everything. he made promises that the main deal price covered everything i asked for but the weeds in the rocks were not treated so when i called him back he claimed i never mentioned needing that and price did not include. when in reality that was my main reason for calling. extra charges were made and they wanted to charge me more for rock treatment. poor service, hidden fees, unprofessipnalism. switched to ecoshield for pest control and ken minh nugyen for lawn and couldn't be happier.

This was a difficult company to work with.  They provided a "get acquainted" one time service during spring 2012.  I did not pursue  their proposed contract for the summer program.  They began providing service without my authorization.  When I realized they were doing that I called to clarify that I had not requested service.  The person I spoke with said they had had that problem with a particular salesperson.  He offered a reduced fee package, paid in advance, as a trial to see if I might want to hire them in the future.  The services I had during that limited scope seemed fine.  The following spring, they showed up again and applied a pre-season treatment.  I called right away to tell them that I had not contracted with them for service and they responded that there is a notice on their invoice that states they will renew service each year unless cancelled.  As I had a limited, pre-paid trial arrangement with them the prior year I did not know about or request a renewal of services.  It took several phone calls to get them to stop and to reverse the charge for that pre-season treatment they did.  I had been assured  when I first called that there would be no charge, but continued to receive bills for $30 and finally one that said I should protect my credit by not allowing the statement to go to collections.  I called again and finally did get a zero balance statement several months after clarifying that I had no arrangement with them to provide lawn service.  It was frustrating.

My experience with them was very good.  They were conscientious.  I would tell other members that they are responsive and they do follow up on the quality of the work.

They're very prompt. They come out very quickly if I have a problem and they need to do an additional service. This additional service is usually done free of charge too.

They are pretty good. They did not charge me because it was between visits. If you pay for the whole year up front that will give you 20 percent off.

They were Angie's List.  It took them a month to come out and service my yard after I prepaid.  I would never recommend them.  I had to call them every week just to call them when they could schedule.
