Called on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend after the spring broke late Saturday. Mary Ann took my call and information and was happy to give me an estimate on the phone (several other providers I called were hesitant to give me a phone estimate). She gave me the option of paying extra to have service performed on Sunday instead of waiting until next Tuesday (next regular day of business), which I agreed to. She said she would call me back with the ETA of Leo, the repairman. Leo arrived on time and was very professional. Took him less than one hour to complete the job. He also installed new bolt screws on one of the garage door rails which had become very loose. Note that the service included installation of two new torsion springs, balancing door, lubing of rollers, bearings and opener chain. Will definitely use again, but hope it isn't for at least seven or eight years.

I called and talked with the receptionist, Maryann, who was very helpful and knowledgeable. She sensed the urgency of my problem and said she would try to get me service that same day, if possible. She called me back in about 15 minutes and asked if noon today would work for me. I was happy & somewhat surprised that she was able to provide such prompt service. Frank came right on time, was very courteous and immediately looked at my broken garage door. He said this door could be replaced with a new door, but it wouldn't match the other door. He also said the broken door was easily repairable at a much lower cost. I said, "go ahead and fix it." He got right to work and finished the job in about 30 minutes, 45 at the most. Both garage doors work very well now and are much quieter running. I'm very pleased with the prompt, friendly and expert service provided by Affordable Door Company. I will recommend this company to anyone with a garage door problem and call them again myself if I have any further problems with my garage doors.

I needed my garage door replaced unexpectedly and decided to call Affordable Door since I used them in the past for a repair. MaryAnne explained my options with facts allowing me to decide on the direction I wanted to take rather than feeling pressured to be upsold. The crew that came out to do the work was exceptional. They were highly skilled, clean, and friendly. The final bill matched the initial quote with no surprise fees. Affordable Door is consistent in their professionalism and I would not hesitate to use their services again.

So, its Thursday, one spring broke on the double garage door and I can't get my car out and I am leaving for vacation on Sunday. Called 2 other services and was told that the soonest they could come was on Monday. Not good. Called Affordable, based on the good reviews on Angie's List. Mary Ann was very helpful, got all of the necessary information and told me that Frank would be out THIS MORNING! Frank soon called to tell me he was on his way and would arrive in 30 minutes. Then he called to say that he was delayed and might be (a whole) 10 minutes late. Then Mary Ann called to say that Frank might be 10 minutes late. Boy did I feel and quot;specialand quot; with all that attention. Frank arrived and 40 minutes later I had 2 new springs, 2 new hinges (old ones were broken), lubricated rollers and tracks and a re-calibrated garage door opener. Frank was terrific. He is personable and gave me an education on the care and feeding of garage doors. After 30 years of doing this, he really knows his stuff. I thought the price was reasonable (didn't really have time to shop around) and I have no problem giving Affordable Door Co., my strongest recommendation.

Called in the AM and Mary Ann answered and was very responsive to the situation and asked questions about the nature of the problem. She suggested that she would get a technician out to our house at the latest. She mentioned that the earliest time would be in the afternoon. I asked if she could have someone out to our house sooner. She called back and said that the tech would be out to our house first and then head to another location.

Francisco did all the work by himself after we had totally messed it up.
He reset our bottom section which we had taken off and lowered on top of it which was askew.  He attached the cables back on the bottom fixtures.  Reset the tension of the spring.

I called them and they were out the next day. I was very happy with their work and found them to be very thorough. I will use them again in the future.

Affordable Door solved noisy door problems and gave good maintenance advise.

It was a wonderful experience. There were times that I had problems with the little button next to the door. I can call them and they have told me how to fix it over the phone. The price was very reasonable. I wanted one with a battery back up because I'm in a rural area. It was more expensive and he didn't push for it which I thought was good. It was done really well. It's a small  family business. I can call them and they answer my questions.

I called for service at noon on a Saturday. The repair guy came and was finished before 2:00. He replaced all of the rollers as was recommended since the door was 11 years old as well as overall servicing. He was fast, efficient, and even repaired the push button which had come unattached from the wall. I will definitely use them in the future.

They came out and looked at the old garage door and helped me pick the color of the new one. They installed the door pretty quickly. While they were installing the door, I had to leave out of town and when I came back, the work was completed. The owner had sent me a bill and asking me to send the cheque. I called and apologized for the delay in making the payments and they were ok with it. I was satisfied with their service.

They were a really nice couple. The reason that it cost so much was because of where they were coming from. They went over and explained everything.

The service was excellent. Their prices were reasonable. They were very professional and not pushy on additional work.

I emailed Pete to make an appointment for them to come help with a remote I could not program. He replied and said he could save me the service call charge and help me via email. He even researched my remote for me. I was able to fix it without having him come out. What a nice guy. I will definitely use them next time I need service!

The garage door is a classic, heavy wooden door that requires larger hard-to-find springs. When I called (around 9:30 AM) the best appointment available was for the next day, which was fine. About an hour later, Mary Anne called back and said that they could reschedule and be at my home in an hour, if convenient and at the same approximate cost. It was convenient and they appeared exactly when promised and performed the work quickly and professionally. The cost was in line with the unique springs needed. They also inspected my rollers and other hardware. No effort was made to up-sell me, although they did suggest that the rollers would need replacement in a year or two and that I should keep an eye on them. I was already aware of this need, and appreciated not only that they identified the problem, but also that they didn't exaggerate the issue or push an additional sale. Good experience.

Garage door was off track and cable. They came out within 30 minutes and replaced the rollers and repaired the cable. They also repaired a few incidental items without charge. Great job, very professional and PROMPT!

I called Affordable Door early afternoon the day before a snow storm was due to arrive. Fortunately they could accommodate me as their last appointment of the day. They originally quoted me a price for replacing the single spring with two, but upon inspection all they had to do was adjust the existing spring and perform routine maintenance on the door. The entire process took about 15-20 minutes and they gave me helpful hints and recommendations for on-going maintenance.
