It went well beyond expectations from the start (estimate, recommendations, and all appointments were on time). When the crew arrived (on time) to do the work I reviewed all work to be done, color and style of borders. The lead person made recommendations and quickly got to work. It was as if the crew was on the same page on the work to be done. They were extremely well coordinated and efficient...no time lost...no mess to clean up...no mistakes. It is obvious that the crew had done jobs such as this many times before. It turned out GREAT. My wife and I are very happy with the work performed. And YES we would recommend and use L&B anytime.

He has absolutely transformed ordinary into extraordinary!  ...even strangers stop and comment on how fabulous our landscaping is, including an astonishing number of golfers who stop their carts!  We couldn't be happier with the YMS work and without question, it has significantly increased the value of our home.  (We plan to have YMS complete our outdoor living next summer by adding the kitchen!)

From our first project with Scott Flodeen, 5 years ago, we developed a trust.  He has impeccable ethics, vast knowledge and expertise and is absolutely reliable.  His crews are hardworking and very respectful.  Scott has extremely competitive pricing and he delivers on (or even under) budget and on time.  We are "changers" - adding and changing mid-project and Scott is tremendous at keeping us apprised as the project goes along - never any surprises!    With every YMS project, we have felt we got a terrific value and results that exceeded our expectations.  Without question Scott Flodeen IS our go-to guy.  We can't say enough about how much we value and appreciate his amazing work!

We've worked with Scott on several of our yard projects over the last few years and he is consistently reliable and does great work. He goes above and beyond to make sure we're satisfied with the end results.

I had called several landscapers to give me suggestions and prices for correcting a drainage problem I was having in my yard. I had decided that I'd also like to add a patio at the same time. Scott was one of five that I had called, and only one of three to have made time to come and talk with me. He was prompt and professional, with good, solid information on what he could do. He followed up our meeting with accurate estimates and came a second time with photos and color charts for me to look at. When it came time for the actual work, we set up a time and they even showed up early. The work was exactly what I wanted, and even though I didn't give him a real clear picture of the patio I'd hoped for, it is more than I'd even imagined. His crew was professional and got an okay from me for anything that varied from the original plan. I have to say, they really are great at what they do, and their experience shows. I LOVE my new patio!! I would not hesitate to use them again.

At first it was going well. But after the job was done I noticed a couple of things. First, I found a paint brush that was used to coat the stamp concrete thrown over the fence into a common area. Second I noticed that when they installed the stamp concrete the workers broke my screen door. Scott did come out and somewhat fix it but being it was never the same. The reason I waited so long to write a review is because my stamped concrete pad looks horrible right now. I had to have Scott come out and make adjustments the first year because of and quot;rusts spotsand quot; that develop on the stamped concrete. As of right now the stamped concrete pad looks as if it is 10 years old and I will need to have it re-finished. I think the rest of the work was done correctly - sod, sprinkler system, but I would not recommend this company if you are looking for a stamp concrete patio.

I've used this company before for larger jobs.  I recommend them - they are professional, prompt, and clean up after their work.  I plan to use them again.

The project was completed to my satisfaction and the price was fair.  I would recommend the company to others.

Overall, I was very happy with the experience I had with YMS, and I will not hesitate to use them in the future for other needs.
Pros:  I received a response to my online inquiry very promptly, and I was provided an accurate pricing quote that was honored exactly.  Scott and his team were punctual, professional, efficient, and tidied-up well after cutting down a 25-year-old evergreen that dropped pinecones on everything in sight. 
Cons:  His stump removal contractor was not available the same day, and I didn?t learn that until the day of service.  However, he mitigated that by fully accomodating my schedule.  The communication style was courteous and clear but very brief, which was generally appropirate to the size of my small project, but a little more customer care would have been nice. 
Again, despite the cons, a very positive experience.

We worked with Scott from beginning to end on this project.  He came out and walked our property with us to understand exactly what we wanted completed and provided a detailed quote of the services he would provide.  We were able to schedule the work quickly, in fact he moved us up on the schedule when he had an opening become available.  He and his team showed up promptly, were great to work with and did a great job.  Scott was here supervising and working the project the entire time.  We will be looking to use YMS in the future for other landscaping and maintenance needs.

They were good.  They followed through.  Scott was the name and he came out for the initial assessment.  He was very knowledgeable.  They showed up on the day that they said they would and got it all knocked out in about 2 hours.  We were pretty impressed with that.  They did a good job and gave us a good price.

Overall, the project went seamless and Scott was flexible.   We even made some changes to our plan and it was no big deal. It was a pleasure working with them and we would definitely use them again and recommend them. 

It was excellent. I've used them before. They do a little bit of everything. They pay attention to detail. It was a good price and it was done on time. They actually stayed late two days to make sure they met their deadline. The cleanup was excellent.

I strongly recommend Scott Flodeen and his company. My experience was excellent from start to finish. He listened to what I envisioned and came up with several options at different price points. The worked started on day scheduled and was completed within 3 days as promised. I was very satisfied with quality and appearance of the wall. Perhaps what impressed me most was that 2 1/2 months after completing the project, we learned that a portion of my sprinkler system that Scott's team had moved was not functioning properly. Upon notifying Scott, they were back out the same day and spent 2 hours adjusting to insure proper coverage.
