They have been really good. They are always responsive and we can get in when we want. We haven't had any issues with them. We had a dog that went through a lot of cancer treatments and they were really good with him. They are very sympathetic. We really like them. Their prices are high. We will definitely continue to use them.

I've used them for probably about 20 years. We've stayed with them for that long because of quality care from all the doctors. It's a very extensive facility so they were able to do testing and x-rays and so forth. They have an emergency clinic so you can even get in after hours. I like the convenience, location and overall quality of care that we felt over those years. Compared to others, I think their pricing was reasonable. I have recommended them to other people.

Took my vomiting dog there after I called and they told me to bring him in. (They always tell you to bring the dog in if you call - that is my experience with this vet.) They thought he might have swallowed a sock but had no way to know for sure. They did hundreds and hundreds of dollars of x-rays and told me that socks don't really show up on x-rays, but they wanted something to watch and compare - hoped to see a bulge in the stomach move. They kept him overnight and put him on an IV. The next morning they said he was fine and they had no idea why he was vomiting. The bill was well over $800.

This is a very expensive vet where they always take the most expensive course of action and make you feel like a poor, insensitive person if you don't follow their orders. If you go, ask a lot of questions. Make sure that you do a little online research first. The online vet who answers my questions for $15 is always better. Then, no matter what they recommend, ask if there is a less expensive option. Ask for tried and true drugs instead of expensive designer drugs. They will do it if you ask, but they will not offer them to you first. Also, ask them to describe the entire course of action. Usually they want to do a lot of expensive tests and then prescribe expensive medication. Tell them that you want to try the less expensive meds without the tests and see what happens. This will save you a lot of money.

The doctor was very friendly, but I did not care for the assistant. She made me feel as if I did care about my dog because I could not afford $1000 worth of care for an over night stay and observation. After speaking with the doctor I had her stay over night for observation. Well one day became a two night/three day stay. The overall cost was $1300 and I had to borrow money to pay the bill so to speak. The assistant told me I had to pay half the bill that night and the other half when I picked her up. I was not able to do that at the time with my credit card so after basically crying I asked the doctor if I could put $250 down and get the rest the next day. I had already been at the vet for two and a half hours waiting the majority of the time to be seen. Finally, they agreed. They did work with me to have my husband's credit card information authorized and faxed over to pay the whole balance. Overall, the doctors were very kind and followed up with me via phone. The assistant and front office staff is less to be desired. I have used this vet in Illinois in the past, but stopped because the cost was too much. If you are on budget I would highly not recommend going to this vet. Emergencies only. I will not be returning for mainly this reason and how the assistant treated me.

It must have been in early June I took my dog there.  The vet took a lot of time checking her out.  She answered any questions and did more than just giving shots.  I didn't feel rushed or anything.  She made sure that there weren't any other issues going on before she let us leave.  I have no idea how much the price would be anywhere else.  They usually call the next day to check and make sure that everything went okay.

I have a Hemophiliac dog whom was bleeding when I came home from work for no apparent reason. We went to the after hours vet and she stayed over night. She takes a very concentrated platlet enriched plasma. Thankfully they let me pay for the plasma directly thru the blood donation site which saved me a TON of money. She received overall 5 blood transfusions. They always called to check up on her afterward any appointment to be sure I didn't have any other concerns. They also always worked within my budget. They do seem to be tad high priced but you really get what you pay for! I would rather spend the extra money on great service and care for my pets versus pay the extra money for a vets nice new office/home/college education.

My experience with the veterinarian went pretty well and everything was good, but I just thought they were a little bit expensive. Even though the price was high the service given was really good. They are very professional.
