Just great.

It turned out great! The sales guy, Scott, came out to measure our entire house for blinds, since we knew we'd want them in every room eventually. Then he helped us pick out the blinds for the bedrooms. Later, we went to their showroom in Castle Rock, where Scott came in by appointment on a weekend (which we really appreciated!) to help us a get a better idea of all their options for the living area. We weren't sure what to do about our sliding glass doors--I wanted something to cover them, but the last time I'd seen vertical blinds they were the awful old ones from the 70s, so I had no idea what to expect. They showed us *beautiful* vertical shades that I was immediately impressed by, but we decided to wait until the first round of blinds were done before ordering more. The installation of the first round of blinds happened about 3 weeks after we ordered them (they had to be produced at the factory and shipped), and nearly everything went smoothly. The only issue was the one of the blinds wasn't opaque that should have been. We let them know and they got to work on a new one right away, which came in just fine a short time later. When we ordered the second set (which included the vertical shades), it again took 3 weeks for them to arrive, and this time installation had another small hitch--the vertical blinds had a defect. They got a replacement rush ordered and we had perfect beautiful vertical shades a week later! We LOVE our new blinds and we really enjoyed worked with everyone at Value Blinds and Shutters. Scott in sales, Ann in the office, and Michael who did every one of our installations perfectly. Our living area looks amazing! The vertical shades are so beautiful they almost look like curtains, but they open and close much more smoothly and evenly. Also, we had some windows in the living room that we knew would be hard to reach, so we got a remote control for them. Definitely the right choice! I was a little worried about getting a motorized product, but after working with this company I'm confident that if we ever have a problem they'll be able to fix it. Super professional, great products, no complaints!

I was unhappy with them when I first bought them but they have come through so they're ok. They did what I needed them to do. I had another problem with them because the strings kept breaking and I called them and they came back and restrung and they didn't charge me. They broke again they came back out so I didn't want strings in them so they took them out. They made it so I could push it up myself with my hands. they were really nice. They had their repair guy come out. He took it down, took it to his van, fixed it and brought it back in and hung it up. It was my main window in the bedroom so its kinda hard to sleep there when there is no blind there. They did the repair at no charge. However when I first got them they wouldn't do anything for me, I had to go through Hunter Douglas to get it taken care of which is really hard because I had to have my husband take the blinds down and take them clear across town then we had to hang them our selves. Then a couple years later when the strings broke I called them and they sent someone out. We set a time and they were out there when we said. I like the worker that came out and did it, he did a good job. I've already bought all my other blinds from another company so hopefully I wont have to buy anymore blinds.

Value Blinds & Shutters was easy to work with. Installation was quick and painless. Price was very reasonable for the honeycomb shade I put in the bathroom.

It went great and their pricing was very competitive. The installers were polite and efficient. I've never had a problem and I went with the faux wood shutters and they clean easily and are in great shape.
