This project has been a night mare! Two months later we still have one lousy coat of paint on our walls, no taping or caulking was done so the seems of the walls show the previous color. When standing at an angle, I can see where the roller was used to apply the paint, with the old color coming through. -The front door was painted without being primed, the paint literally shrunk from the door and pealed off like a piece of saran wrap! -None of the trim was prepped or sanded. When we mentioned it to the helper, he scraped it all off from the top landing of steps and left the paint chips on the carpet below - we had man in the house laying carpet at the time who cleaned up the mess because he was embarrassed for the helper. (We were out of town while they came in to work) -It took nearly two months for the owner to return our phone calls and come back to the house to assess the job. Ten days ago he stopped in, looked at the job and said he would be back in a few days to finish the job (second coat of paint, sand and prime hand rails etc.). I sent a message to him two days ago by email and he has not returned my message. This weekend my husband and I will finished the job ourselves! I am embarrassed for the owner - more than I am angry. The quality of work was below any standards imaginable.
