Upon the recommendations of two neighbors, we called to obtain a quote based on our house size, 4000 sqft, extra tasks to be performed, an oven clean and light fixtures, and to schedule work. The crew of three reported on time, and worked for over two hours. The cleaning did not meet the advertised (on the web site) scope, especially for the blinds and fan cleanings, and there ere many details missed, including poor cleaning of the oven. When these shortfalls were communicated to Patsy, an argumentative and negative response was received, stating that there was too much work to be performed for the provided estimate. We will look elsewhere for house cleaning services

They wiped down most of the areas with dry clothes which did not work well with the drywall dust. I did not feel the level of clean was as high as the previous time I used them. I was not able to be there to supervise and My husband is not as picky as I am.

They did a good job getting all of the dust and pet hair cleaned up (not an easy task as we have 5 animals!). They did a good job, were punctual and the cost was reasonable.

I gave the certificate to my son and daughter-in-law to use. They have two cats and my son builds log furniture in their garage so they accumulate a lot of cat hair and sawdust in the house. They were very pleased with the results.

They do a borderline fair job. There have been a couple of times where I have not been satisfied at all, there have been quite a few dusty areas in my house that have not been cleaned. Also, I always have the feeling they are rushed and trying to finish the job quickly. Punctuality is not the best, but they are professional and friendly. I've thought a couple of times about changing to somebody else, but haven't gotten around to it.

My husband bought a deal on Angie's List for four hours of cleaning for $59.00. I forgot about the expiration date and when I realized it would expire soon I called hoping they would still take the certificate if the date passed. Patsy said yes and we reschedule the cleaning date a few times. When they finally came they did a great job. I was pleased when I returned home and saw everything was done the way I hoped it would be. I was surprised to see the beds made and that the inside of the microwave was cleaned too. It was a great experience and unfortunately I cannot afford to use their services regularly but I hope I can in the near future.

They did not take take their shoes off when they came in. I had to point out what they missed several times. They kept asking each other what they needed to be doing.

I used Modern Maids for a few months to clean my house every other week. The crew is professional and prompt but the cleaning they provided was not a high quality. They seemed to race through the house (one time it took less then 40 mins for 2500 square feet) and they definitely do not have a great attention to detail. I would say the cleaning they provide is just fair, but I am looking for a deep cleaning every time they come. There have been occasions when I would see that a bathroom floor was not mopped or a toilet not cleaned and that is not worth the almost $100 it cost me each time they cleaned.

The housecleaners arrived promptly and asked for trash bags and then 2 women went upstairs and one started in the kitchen right away. I have a new puppy so we went to the backyard to have lunch and get out of their way for the hour.
I emphasized to clean the three upstairs bathrooms first and not to bother dusting downstairs.
The time went fast (30 minutes before I had all the food/toys outside hopping along and one woman helped me with a gate).
At 30 minutes two women were working in the main room wiping the kitchen down (counters, sink, stove, toaster oven and vaccuuming the main floor family room. I did not hop around while they were working.
they were very pleasant and at exactly one hour were waving goodbye. There was no review of the work they did, or if I was satisfied with the work they did. I have never had a work crew wave goodbye and not check in with me before.
I gave them low scores for quality as they did not clean one bathroom at all, not the sink or tub or floor.

One of three upstairs bathrooms wasnt cleaned at all, my stated top priority to the manager x 2 occasions and to the non-English primary language work crew on arrival, I am very dissatisfied with this, and will not rehire them ever if they cant get this simple request done.They cleaned the kitchen before cleaning the one upstairs bathroom and did not dust upstairs at all.
/owner called me this am and when I said I was very unhappy that they did not do the work I requested through her (twice) or onsite she explained that if I noted that they worked for the whole hour that I really shouldnt expect more since this was a coupon and I was getting a deal.

As she said she paid for the big deal which was $59.00 for 4 man hours.She told me what she wanted and I related that to my employees.She asked me could she use the coupon in 2 months because she was doing construction in her home and I need to get the coupons taken care of so I told her no.The employees told me they did all the restrooms and everything they were told to do and also the kitchen which they weren't asked to do.The ladies that cleaned her home have worked for me for years so I know they do what they are instructed to do.The member said she couldn't walk upstairs because of her foot so I assume someone else told her the restroom wasen't done I'm not sure I guess one restroom got missed but they did spend 4 man hours cleaning. They cleaned the whole time this member admitted that they spent the whole time cleaning.So I am going to take my ad off angie's list because I have been in business for 30 years and I would like my client's to tell me what the problems are so I can take care of them with my client that is why I have been doing business with several clients for 28 years and others 10-15 years because we commicate about the problem.I have several references from new clients that I have got from angies list that are very happy with us.I don't like bad reviews when I try so hard to make the people that we clean for satisfied"

They have a detailed list of the services their housecleaning they do on their website. Since everything I wished to be completed was on that list, I didn’t give them any special instructions. They were in and out in 50 minutes. It was like a light dusting instead of a thorough cleaning. I was not satisfied with the service and they didn’t do what they said they would. After I told her what the problems and shortcomings were, I advised that I would pay her once we worked something out. She then declined payment and said she didn’t need my money or my business.

"I am responding to the member because I feel he is being unfair with his comments.I get at least one compliment A week on how professional and polite the people are that work for me and what a great job they do.He didn't give a check to the crew for the job that was done and when I called to see if he was happy with the cleaning and to get paid he didn't call me back for a couple of days and then he said we were a bad company and he was going to pay $50.00 so I told him to keep the money.I did not say I didn't need his business.I also told him that I paid the people that cleaned his house we used our supplies and everything else that I pay with overhead.I can't make everyone happy that we do business with but I try to.I think the problem was that the member thought we were fast but there was 3 ladies there and The time they were there was the same as 3 hours for one maid.I have many references of satisfied clients that will give us great references.And we clean for several homes 15 plus years and several homes recently that will give us great reviews as well .Alot of people don't want one maid to be in their house all day cleaning and do half the work that we do in a shorter time frame."

I recently returned back to work full time and have a house of all boys (including the dog!). I was in need of residential home cleaning at an resonable cost. After contacing several services with similar ratings and getting unreasonable quotes, I sent Modern Maids (Patsy) an e-mail detailing my needs and fininancial concerns. In fact I sent the e-mail mid morning on a Sunday not expecting a call or reply until sometime Monday. That afternoon Patsy called me back. In fact I didn't hear my phone the first time and instead of just leaving me a message, she tried calling me back about 10 minutes later. She detailed what I could expect from her cleaning serviecs and we discussed by far the most reasonable fee around! My desire was to have cleaning done mid monrning on Fridays. I expected that this day and time would not be possible but she was able to not only schedule me that day and time, but also got me set up that week for my first cleaning (what a relieft). They arrived on time and performed a detailed clean of my 3 br 2.5 bath home. They were effecient and very quick. To my surprise, they cleaned things I have never thought about cleaning and to top it all off they were able to remove the hard water stains from my master bathroom sink that I have spent a considerable amount of time and money trying to get clean. My shower was spotless (which has never happened in my house before). Following the cleaning, Patsy called me to follow up on my experience. I had only 2 very minor concerns (due to my type A personality). She responded to these concerns very appropriatly and assured me that this would be taken care of. Overall I am impressed and will continue to use them for my home cleaning needs!

The house cleaners were just fantastic! They arrived on time, divided up tasks and worked very hard the entire time they were here. They left the house just spotless - exceeded my expectations in every way. I would use them again in a second!

I wanted to have a thorough cleaning before Thanksgiving and Patsy was able to fit me in.The Team showed up exactly at 8:00 am, took about 5 minutes to get special instructions from me and started right in.The other services I have tried usually took about 4 hours, this Team was done in about 2 1/2. I was blown away at the level of quality, professionalism, speed and attention to detail.This Team was quick, efficient and careful. All my books, pictures and knickknacks were replaced just where they were supposed to be. They paid attention to special instructions and were very conscientious. I have signed up for a monthly service and the cost is very reasonable. Patsy is great to work with and will accommodate your schedule to the best of her ability. Highly Recommended!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this company, and I will do everything I can to have them come back and help me out routinely. They were wonderful to schedule the work when I needed it done which is hard because I had very few times when I could make it work. They came in and started to work the moment they walked in the door....very efficient! And, the results.....far surpassed my expectations. They cleaned things so well! They did things I didn't even ask for. My kids were even impressed. They did so many extras, too, like the fronts of cabinets and the upper edge of picture frames. I had such a wonderful sense of peace and calm when I walked back into my house when they were finished. AWESOME JOB!!

They do a great job. They are on time and quick. I think they are great, and I have nothing to suggest in terms of improvements. I pay about $110 each time. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future; in fact, they are coming again this Friday to do the work.
