JM Kitchen & Bath

After one full week (7 days) I called Mike Thulson of JM Kitchen and Bath to find out where he was in getting a quote ready. Not only did he not recognize my name when I called he fumbled for a moment to tell me that he had not even started. He would have a quote by and quot;Wednesday or Thursdayand quot; (Today being Monday) Sorry Mike, but if it takes a week and a half to just get a quote, I'm not sure I trust you to do the work within any reasonable time schedule. You lost my business before you even had it. Next . . .

The cabinets are beautiful. I love the style of the cabinet. I didn't like the plan so much, but I love the style of the cabinet. The first time I saw it, I was like, "Yes. I love the design. I love the color." They were not the most expensive. They have these soft close doors. The thing I haven't liked about the soft close doors has to do with the angles. Because they have corners, two corners, putting those angled cabinets, the doors bang together. You have to wait long for one to close. They were on time. We didn't have to wait. He did a beautiful job.

JM Kitchen & Bath - Denver location did an outstanding job.  Both times they were able to order exactly what we wanted and needed.  They made the process extremely easy.  The service we received from both Juli and Joel was excellent.  Everything went perfect.  We appreciated them working with our schedules, plus we appreciate them educating us on cabinet installation.  They really know their cabinets.  And very important - their communication of the process and status was superior.  And they worked with our budget and we were still able to get high quality cabinets. We would definitely recommend them and use them again.

The kitchen project was done first and required an outside contractor to help with the engineering and construction.  This project was flawless, on time and beautiful results.  The contractor and J&M worked very well together to complete this project beautifully and on time.   The bathroom project was not so successful.  This also required an outside contractor to help with walls, doors, etc.  This was a different contractor than the kitchen contractor and the results were not good.  The contractor did a horrible job scheduling his projects and we were last priority until we complained.  J&M was very helpful in pushing them to complete their work but in the end what was contracted to be a 2 month project ended up taking up the entire summer, with most of the summer waiting on the contractor to show up.  Lesson learned:  The cheapest contractor is definitely not the best.  I would use J&M again, but I would do better homework on the contractor.
