Roofing
Horrible experience! We would not recommend using Home Depot to replace your roofing. The Home Depot Rep, Stu House showed up June 4,, 2013 and negotiated a contract with us for $9130 (based on the insurance adjustors report). Stu took a $2285 deposit and told us our roof would be completed by the end of the month. Even though our HOA insisted that we use Owens Corning shingles, Stu tried to get us to use GAF shingles for some unexplained reason.
When we did not hear from the project manager, Travis Poulton, we complained to Stu House. Travis did come to the house and promised to order our shingles by mid-June. Nothing happened... Finally, we decided to cancel our contract since nothing happened.
Even after we cancelled our contract, it took days and several trips to Home Depot to complain before we got our deposit returned to us. We have always shopped at Home Depot but they need more reliable sum-contractors.

Roofing
They had the square footage off by a lot. They estimated the size to be almost 1,000 extra square feet. Their estimate cost was also much higher than the other ones I received. They did arrive on time.

They are very helpful whenever we go to the store. The help is friendly. The store is always clean. We'll continue to use Home Depot for our home needs.

Appliance Sale
It went well overall. But the installers themselves, which work for the appliance manufacturers instead of The Home Depot, should have asked our preferences for certain installation issues instead of just making the decisions themselves. (For example, I would rather have had our dryer installed closer to the air vent duct to prevent excessive bending of the vent duct.)

Ceiling Fan Service
We purchased a ceiling fan from the Home Depot and did the work ourselves. After the purchase we noticed that the fan was broken and it was replaced ASAP by the Home Depot. The employees also provided invaluable support during the installation, both in person and over the phone. Without their service help we would have been unable to get the fan installed.

Leaf Removal
THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE OF THE EQUIPMENT WAS GREAT AND WORTH WHILE. THE EMPLOYEES WERE GREAT AT SELLING THEM TO ME AS WELL. I WOULD RECOMMEND BUYING FROM HOME DEPOT NO MATTER WHAT.
