As soon as he got the approval from my landlord he immediately ordered the ac and furnace he needed and as soon as they came in he came out and installed that same day and finished that afternoon. Nate Baca at Colorado Bear is a true professional. My 25 year old AC stopped working on the hottest day of the year and he came out within 30 minutes of our phone call. The AC compressor was bad and he recommended a new AC and furnace for compatibility reasons. I have a 2 story home and have always had issues with a temperature difference between the first and second story. I decided to move forward with the Amana AC inverter Nate recommended. It’s not only helped average the temperature better upstairs, it’s extremely quiet compared to my old AC. The installation was easy and the installers were extremely friendly. Nate, the owner of Colorado Bear Heating and Air, came to our house with Sam, a technician, after we had set up an appointment to diagnose and fix our AC, which was fast cycling on-off. They were on time, professional, and friendly. We have had technicians from several other companies that provide HVAC services in the past, but Bear was clearly the best of them. While inspecting our blower and heater, Sam immediately spotted a problem with the existing wiring, which prevented our two-stage high-efficiency system from working to its utmost performance. Upon fixing it, the improvement in airflow was immediately noticeable. They also replaced a capacitor on the outside AC unit that was causing the short cycling. Throughout their visit, Nate patiently explained the nuts and bolts of what they were doing and why. I had a much better understanding of our system and how it works than before. The costs of their services were customary, but the level of service and obvious passion that Nate has for his business and his customers is superior.

Had these guys install a new heating and cooling system for me and could not be happier with the way things went. The quality of the installation was the best I have ever seen and included lots of thoughtful extra touches that made it an outstanding experience. Since this was a high efficiency furnace it creates acidic condensation and they added an acid neutralizer to the system so that the water going into my pipes would not cause corrosion issues in the future. The filtration system they used is also the best that can be added to a system for dust reduction. The furnace came with a missing piece to hook up the air conditioning unit and they got the furnace up and running and then arranged everything once they got the missing piece. They kept in touch during the whole process so that I did not have to do any follow-up myself. System passed with flying colors the first time on inspection which has not been my experience with other companies. The following week after the install was when we had a really cold snap and the system worked way better than my old one, I think mainly due to the quality of the install as they were very similar furnaces. Most HVAC equipment is pretty similar and the mark of a great company is the work they do and so far these guys are the best.
