The year after completion we had a big snow storm and the new roof over our patio leaked where it met the house. After SEVERAL calls, Ron finally came out to take a look. He told us that this was something called "flashing" and during large storms where the snow sat on the roof for a long time this would happen. He told us to purchase a roof heater keep that amount of snow from building up. The roofing guy was with him and he seemed to think that it needed to be looked into further but Ron said this would work. We didn't have many big snows after that so not sure if it would have worked the way he said or not.
This year it started leaking during just rain storms. Again after SEVERAL calls Ron called us back but told us that it was no longer under warrenty so he could not do anything about it. We told him that it should have been taken care of when we first reported it and was under warrenty. Then he said that he no longer works with this roofer so it was not his responsibility but we said that since he was the project manager on this he should take this on. We have tried to contact him several times since without response.
I would not recomend his services to anyone that would like their work to be done correctly and would like follow up if there are issues.
We will have to pay a different company to come fix this issue before it ruins all of our wood.
