We were pleasantly greeted by the front office.  Dr. Vickers saw us shortly thereafter.  He examined our dog and was very caring and asked a number of questions.  Our dog was very comfortable with Dr. Vickers and not nervous at all.  He listened to my concerns and gave me guidence on her care.  Overall, it was a great experience.

Both of our small dogs have had health issues in the past several years, so we have been to see Dr. Vickers and his staff on numerous occasions. We found this place by pure luck, and we're glad we did. We have total confidence in Dr. Vickers. He takes his job seriously and it feels like he won't rest until he gets to the bottom of every issue; we've had some complicated things going on with our dog and he recently diagnosed something that the specialist had missed. Everybody at the clinic goes above and beyond for our dogs. Dr. V. has even taken our sick dog to his home over the weekend so he and his family could watch her himself. I can't tell you how many times he has called us to check on her, even after hours and on weekends. My husband says Dr. V. is the best veterinarian he's ever known, and he's had lots of pets and known lots of vets.
The staff here has somehow managed to make medical treatments something our dogs don't mind, which is quite a feat.  Both dogs can't wait to get inside once they see we've pulled up at the clinic. The staff seems to genuinely love the animals. They are very professional, yet very nice people. Highly recommend this place.

This was a great experience for our baby's first vet visit. We adopted an 8 month old Catahoula mix from the Dumb Friend's League in Castle Rock. Most people will follow that sentence by a "huh?". I had the same reaction when I first saw her because I had never heard of that breed before. Smartphone in hand I was able to get immediate information about her breed. Catahoula's are from Louisiana and in general are very weary of strangers. While at the shelter we could tell that she was a bit skiddish especially around men.

Needless to say we were a little worried as to how she would react to meeting Dr. Vickers for the first time. We stumbled upon Dr. Vickers practice by while doing research online. Once at our appointment we quickly found out there was absolutely nothing to worry about.

For the first 20-25 minutes Dr. Vickers spoke with us about her breed and our concerns while letting her roam around the room and warm up to him on her own time. At no time during our visit did we feel rushed by Dr. Vickers. He never pressured us or our dog during the exam. In addition to his extreme patience he was very knowledgable about caring for our pup. I learned things about food, allergies, and health problems that I had never known in all my time of being a dog owner.

He is the first vet I have ever been to who took that much time with us and truly cared about our pet. I would venture to say that we were with Dr. Vickers for between 45 mins and an hour. The actual exam and rabies shot for our little girl only took up a total of about 5-10 mins of that time. This made the visit as non-traumatizing as possible for our new doggie who was nervous enough already.

The receptionist and staff was just as patience and pleasant as Dr. Vickers. After just one visit I have already recommended Dr. Vickers to my brother for his own dog. I will continue to recommend Dr. Vickers to all of my friend's and family. Dr. Vickers is a genuine and highly intelligent veternarian.

The vet was very congenial and answered every one of our questions thoroughly. He was great with the beloved dog and gave rational, sensible advice. The lump was palpated and explored and with great relief we learned it was nothing to worry about. I will be taking all our pets to this vet.

It went great. We have been going here since 2008 and the staff here is very caring and professional. They called to check up on my dog a couple of times after the procedure. The prices seem aligned with other vets. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

Dr. Vickers clearly loves animals. For example, when we had to leave our dog over night he took her home with him so that he could watch over her. I believe that his care and attention helped to greatly extend our dog's lifetime.
