On March 19, 2015, I contracted with Archer & Associates to perform a land survey to show existing topography on two residential lots - mine and our next door neighbor. I also asked for a regarding plan and a drainage plan as required by my homeowners association and the county. I was told that the survey would be done in 2 weeks and the grading plan would be done in 1 to 2 months. This was acceptable and they were authorized to proceed. I heard nothing from Archer and Associates after that call.
In mid- April, 2015 I called and asked when the survey would be done. I spoke to Mike Archer and he said he would check into it and call back. He did not call back. One days later a survey crew arrived and conducted the survey.
On May 12, 2015 (Tuesday), I called Archer and Associates, spoke with Mike Archer and asked for the results of the survey and the drainage plan. Mike looked it up I their system and informed me that the survey had been done for nearly a month and the grading plan would be completed by the end of the week. I called back the following Monday, May 18th, and spoke with Kevin Archer, the person responsible for the plan. He informed me that the survey was complete but no one had started on the plan. He said they were very busy. He said the plan would be done in 2 weeks.
On June 2, 2015, I called and asked to speak with Kevin Archer. He informed me that they still had not started on the drainage and grading plan and didn't have any idea when they could get to it.
Archer and Associates has been totally unresponsive to my project. The work, as contracted, was not done. They never took the effort to call me and explain or provide an option for getting the work done.
I would not recommend for any land survey or civil engineering project. Their approach was totally unprofessional. Their word cannot be trusted, and their concept of customer service is nonexistent.
