Was rescheduled 4 times before work was actually done. Was told I was going to receive an American stove, received a Canadian one instead and was told it was pretty much the same thing. After the install, the fan that was installed was defective and was told I would get a replacement. It has been 6 months and still have not gotten a replacement. In addition, My support box was having mounting issues and was told he would come and correct it when he delivered my new fan. Now I can no longer get ahold of Anthony and I just want my money back for the fan. Winter is pretty much over and the job is still not done. If you want mediocre work and a scheduling headache. Look no further.

Anthony inspected our wood-burning stove and let us know that we did not need a cleaning at this time. We appreciated his honesty and his knowledge. We will be calling him annually to check our wood stovepipe.

Stole our money and disappeared! Do not trust this guy!! He is a classic scam artist. All the reviews about him taking advantage of people are true. Do your research.

Anthoney is honest and efficient

I paid a deposit and date to have work done. This contractor cancelled three times, partially due to rain/or appointments he had for doctor(?). Then on the day before he said he would be there at 1PM. Due to possible rain at around 3PM, I suggested maybe coming earlier. He then sent me a text saying we should part ways if I am not okay and he would deliver the materials and have someone else do the job . Very poor customer service and wondered if he actually was able to do the job in the first place. He did say initially he had done hundreds of jobs like this for 20 years, which sold me. Very unprofessional in his responses to us.

Came out did inspection and with integrity informed me it did not need cleaning saving me alot. They could of said it needed and just did it. But was honest and said I was good. This is rare folks. Hire these guys. Thank you for your companies and serviceman's integrity.

This person is a sham, he is very dishonest. Do not use this "contractor". He still owes us $900 from an arbitration agreement and probably took us for at least $1400.

As a woman, I wanted to find a friendly, trustworthy, reliable person for this service. All though he is friendly and charismatic in order to gain trust, he did not provide an: 1. Itemized invoice 2. He did not order all the needed parts at once, although he had written the parts on the invoice. 3. Rescheduled more than three times over a month and a half period saying it was snow on the roof, when there were many days over 50 degrees. 4. Threatens about falling and having it on my homeowner is insurance more than once, instead of finding ways to secure himself to the roof for safety measures 6. Took $4100 and has yet to start on the service. 7. Leaves soot on the walls without apologizing. 8. Many excuses, little work 9. The work he did complete was proven to be non-standard according the parts and county rules, un-permitted and would have caused a fire to the home. --Update-- Angi's List put him back on the list after I won a hearing for proving his work is almost considered criminal from three other reputable chimney sweep companies. I had to hire a lawyer to attain the payment I was owed after winning. It took over four months with many conversations, explaining the consequences if he did not pay. I am very surprised Angis list or this Homeadvisor, which is listed via Angi's would re-publish. This means the worker is not vetted on their system and I would advise to be very careful. I wrote Angi's customer service and team and asked them why they would re-list a person of whom they found such incredible evidence of poor customer service, criminal type work and lack of respect for paying for their lack of integrity. I did not hear back. Please be careful with this person and carefully vet anyone else on this site.
