Southwestern Design

Southwestern Design is a family-owned business with no subcontractors. Dennis Eason is the owner, and he, his wife and sons do all of the work themselves, and do a great job! They had to first finish removing all of the mess left by the previous company that I fired for using illegal workers, and then set about prepping the house for wrapping and wire. They provided all of their tools, scaffolding, materials, etc., and were exceptionally punctual at all times. They finished the site prep within a week and had the “brown coat” (initial layer) on in 10 days. Rather than immediately start with the final coat, Mr. Eason waited a full 28 days to fully “cure” the brown coat. They did the window and door pop-outs in a contrasting color of my choice (at no extra cost). The final coat was well done and the total project was a complete success. All of the exterior lights, gutters, etc., were re-installed and the work area cleaned up completely. The final coat was completed in a week. This was a real trial for Mr. Eason as he was in race to complete this job before he had to have a shoulder replacement the next week! But he didn't let that interfere with this project. He got it done in an exceptional manner! Mr. Eason also coordinated for matching pea-gravel to be delivered (at my cost) to repair the damage to my driveway that was done by previous contractors. When the material was delivered, Mr. Eason came back with his skid loader, spread the gravel and dressed it for me at no additional cost. Considering the problems I had with the previous stucco company, this job was a breeze and very well done. I highly recommend Southwestern Design and Mr. Eason to anyone contemplating stucco for their home.
