McSwain Builders

We hired Mcswain Builders to complete a remodel of our Snowmass condominium. This was a complete interior remodel that we would be having completed remotely, as we live 1300 miles away. Weâ ve done many remodels before but weâ ve always been onsite. For this reason, we needed a contractor who would work closely with our design team, stay in frequent communication with us and have a remodel history that instilled trust and confidence in us. We interviewed several other contractors before deciding to hire McSwain Builders. They promised to meet our project relationship goals and provided us with a team to manage all aspects of the construction. We appreciated the use of an online software platform that allowed transparency of invoices, project schedule, and provided real time updates of the budget and photos of the progress. The craftsmanship was beyond our expectations. The project manager had as high of expectations as we did for all aspects of the project (I.e. painting/staining, cabinetry, drywall). The project came it at budget, even with several modifications that were necessary due to codes, HOA requirements and unforeseen building circumstances. The team remained conscious of the budget, our goals and the aesthetic. The project team effectively executed the design plan and the result was better than we could have predicted.

Actively listened to our desires, developed a plan, sought our approval, made requested adjustments, followed through on construction, actively sought to reduce costs, provided all invoices, followed up.

McSwain Builders did a excellent job on a kitchen and bath remodel on our house in Glenwood Springs. A very professional and skilled team. Highly recommended.

Frank with McSwain Builders was a pleasure to work with. We were in the unfortunate circumstance of being an out-of-state landlord when the toilet upstairs flooded the entire home! We were so stressed trying to figure out how to manage the restoration of our Colorado rental property all the way from California! We flew out to Colorado for a weekend and interviewed a number of contractors and as soon as I met Frank I knew he was the right one for the job. He set us up immediately with all the right suppliers to select all the finishes for our house and just made the process as simple as could be. He set a schedule for the job and stuck to it. He always answered the phone and was always available for us to do a FaceTime walk-through to go over any questions. In the end, we made the best of our flood situation and sold our rental property for top dollar! On time and on budget, I would highly recommend working with McSwain Builders! Thank you Frank!!!

We are so happy we engaged McSwain Builders for our remodeling project! Their follow-up and communication set them apart from any contractor we have ever worked with. Tami did a great job keeping our project moving forward with gentle reminders to get selections finalized and make decisions to keep everything on schedule--on a very tight schedule to complete the work prior to us arriving for Christmas. It was refreshing to have a contractor chasing ME for decisions rather than me chasing a contractor for action! Our project was small, but no one at McSwain treated it like a small project. The attention to detail and the attention to the process was unparalleled, and especially appreciated since we were directing this project from out of state. Even though we weren't there to see the progress we felt included in the process and were kept updated throughout the duration of the project. We love the way our kitchenette turned out, and we look forward to completing renovations in all our units with McSwain Construction this spring!

Our complete condo remodel with Frank was a super smooth process, surpassing all my expectations. Frank listened well, understood our vision, and made good recommendations. Frank and Ty were deeply committed to the safety of my home, the quality of their work, and my happiness! Really. They wanted me to be proud of my home and the work they completed for me. TMC repaired or replaced the following: water main, egress window, retaining wall, concrete entry steps, kitchen window, exterior cedar shake siding and trim, roof, gutters, major HVAC work for the boiler and laundry, and electrical and plumbing upgrades and general maintenance. All of these things were done with excellence. TMC Builders will exceed your expectations as well all of their subcontractors. Frank is meticulous about the safety, cleanliness and organization of the site. He kept my project moving faster than any Project Manager I have met in 18 years of renovations.

Frank McSwain with TMC Builders was a professional dream. He was so kind, helpful, resourceful, professional and reasonable. He worked with me long distance as I live in Hawaii as well as with my tenants schedule. He answered all of my questions and helped ease our concerns by doing a fantastic job. I highly recommend TMC Builders and hope to use them for a remodel one day!
