RICK'S PUMP SERVICE

Woke up without water to the house. Called a number of services and Rick's was the most responsive. They attempted to talk me through TS system on the phone, to no avail, based on my limited understanding of the system. They agreed to come out early afternoon to determine issue. Upon site arrival, quickly identified where the issue was and set up for correction (next day). With all the issues I know the area was having, I though tit was very reasonable. Next day the crew arrived, expecting to have to pull well pump. Fortunately the electrical short was toward the top of the well and corrections were made. Once that was corrected, thy found a secondary issue caused due to the electrical surge. It had blown out a capacitor in the control box. This was promptly replaced and the entire system checked and verified.

Service personnel were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They were sensitive to limiting damage to landscaping during installation of cistern. They encountered rock several feet below ground and had to install the cistern so that it stuck up higher above the ground than usual, but they spent quite a bit of time (without adding a charge for the extra work) trying to find a better location before we decided that the original location was the best we could do. Installation cost was right on target. Very knowledgeable about the Canon City area soil and terrain. Later, called Rick's when pump was not acting right, and they were quick to identify the problem, get the replacement part for the pump saver valve, and get it installed.
