"Preston of G-1 Plumbing performed the services and addressed the toilet & drain problem. He was unable to stop leak(made it worse) & submitted his recs to Choice Home for review. I was unable to understand Choice Home's response regarding the faucet leak. Their review stated faucet needed to be replaced BUT it was under "builder's warranty." I built this home in 2005. There is no "builder's warranty" now. I cancelled the proposed work order & paid out-of-pocket. A Friend, who was familiar with my builder and knows faucet components, came to my home, adjusted/cleaned the faucet cartridge and stopped the leak. The CHW tech, Preston, is conscientiuos, however, IMHO lacked the knowledge & experience to stop my leak. Home Warranty Companies, at least in my area, hire owner/operators who need the work to build their business and are NOT the most experienced/knowledgeable & are willing to work for less money. In my experience, Home Warranty Companies want the CHEAPEST resolution, not the BEST. I would recommend G-1 Plumbing for most plumbing issues."

"I hired Black Rhino Custom to renovate my kitchen and replace the floors in the kitchen, main floor living space and hallways. From the first meeting with Austin and his team I was at ease, they made suggestions, listened to what I wanted and did not try to upsell. When they returned with samples for flooring, countertops and cabinets – they brought choices based on our original discussions. I could not be happier with the finished product, The Black Rhino team is professional and respectful of my home and my time. They showed up when promised, the estimated prices were adhered to and the quality of the products installed is as discussed and promised. Sure there were bumps in the timeline but Austin and his team smoothed out the issues and made things right and to my satisfaction. Sure stuff can happen during a renovation/remodel but Austin controlled what he could. Before hiring this team I did my research on the internet and called the references supplied by Black Rhino when I requested. All I can assume is most of us do not take the time to compliment a job well done and do not take responsibility for our role in the contracted work. "The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"My house is 100+ yrs old Weston added the addition seamlessly. Any thing that came up he had a plan right away. Weston really cared about every thing he did, he was the best choice my wife and I could make. It was so nice to have a contractor that cared what we wanted and made it happen. I have already set up more projects for Weston to do. In January he will replace the roof on my building damaged by hail."
