I've had Mile High work on two different houses. Each time they did excellent work, communicated well with me about the project, and were a joy to work with. I highly recommend them because they help me spot issues that I had originally missed.

We are very happy with the quality of the job done on our house by MHEC. They did everything they said they would, they did all inspections, they helped me update any additional problems that I had, they were professional, and I think the owners were on site every day personally checking the work. We highly recommend them. We found their work to be of high quality. It was nice to find someone who actually follows through, and we even felt like they had our back. They were a joy to work with.

We had a soffit issue on our 2.5 story home. LaPrell and Kashmira came out from Mile High Exterior Construction and accessed the issue. Their employee performed the work and we are very happy with the results. When you have an exterior problem or project give this "Awesome" company a call.

We have a tile roof and have had an issue with the water over shooting the garage gutter for years and eroding the concrete drive & sidewalk. LaPrell & Kashmira came out from Mile High Exterior Construction and accessed what was causing the issue. They explained that tile roofs have a higher roof line than the traditional Asphalt shingles. So, these two ladies explained since the gutter run was not that long they had their employee install a diverter on top of the existing 5 inch gutter. So, as the water is coming down in large amounts or at high speed it would hit the gutter diverter & fall back into the gutter. They also suggested to install a 3x4 downspout so the water would drain quickly. The craftsmanship looks great! We tested the new configuration using a water house and it works great!!! MHEC is the company to call with all your exterior needs and they will perform high quality work.

We trusted Mile High Exterior Construction with updating our 90-year-old-home and couldn’t be happier with the results. During the summer and fall of 2021, MHEC replaced our gutters, downspouts, soffit, fascia, portions of siding, painting, and the addition of iron railing and cedar posts on our front and back porches. During the construction process, LaPrell and Kashmira always made themselves available for any questions we had during construction and made frequent in-person visits to check on the project and make any adjustments. Throughout the construction process, LaPrell and Kashmira always kept us informed and comfortable with their friendly and professional demeanor, which made us feel like part of the family. In addition to that, Daniel was always on-site working meticulously to ensure the additions to our home were made with the quality and attention to detail you’d expect from a world-class company like MHEC. LaPrell, Kashmira, and the team at MHEC are wonderful to work with! We hired MHEC to replace our wooden (and rotting) front porch railing with an iron railing, to replace our gutters, to unclog a buried French drain, and to install brand new trim around three 2nd-story windows that previously lacked trim (and that cheap fix transformed the appearance of those two sides of the house!). LaPrell came out to perform the estimate, and I was immediately impressed with how knowledgable and friendly she was. Our job was definitely smaller than most of what they take on, but they care about helping homeowners with these smaller jobs, too, and to improve their home exteriors. We got several estimates from other contractors, and MHEC's price estimate was also quite fair. The work they performed was high quality and looks great. When any unexpected surprises came up (as they always do), they really worked with us to resolve it and ensure things were done right. There were a couple small items that MHEC couldn't quite finish before our big 2-foot blizzard (such as unclogging the French drain, which was packed with tree roots, dirt, and blocks of ice in the frozen ground), so they put temporary solutions in place until they could come back when the ground thawed (which they did, as promised). In our conversations with them both before and during their work on our house, we felt like we really got to know them, and felt like we gained new friends, even. They were kind and generous to our kids, too. In addition to the care they put into the quality of the work at every house they work on, my wife & I really appreciate how well LaPrell & Kashmira take care of their employees like family—that was quite evident. We missed having them around when they were done! I also asked them lots of questions about siding and roofing, and when we inevitably get the next big hailstorm that requires a roof replacement, MHEC will be the only company we call. They've earned our business for all future home exterior work we need done! We highly recommend MHEC!

We had attempted to replace our siding ourselves. After an unrelated work injury we were unable to finish the siding project. It sat partially done for nearly 5 years. We were so grateful to have contacted MHEC. Not only were they gracious about the many errors we made but they had a great deal of wisdom and experience to help us fix our ugly house. In the end we had all of the siding removed/replaced along with soffits and fascia. We were so grateful for the excellent carpentry and experience of both LaPrell and Harold, and their employees. The city inspectors reported they had done and exceptional job. There were some covid related delays in getting our materials - but once they got started, they gave our project their full attention. If you want the job done well and done right - this is who you call!

We were very pleased with the work that was done. LaPrell and her team were professional, attentive, responsive, detail-oriented, and offered wonderful advice about the scope of the project. They went above and beyond making sure that our home was well taken care of and that our needs were met too. We would definitely recommend them to do any exterior home project.

Mile High Exterior Construction did an excellent job for us. We have a house that is over 100 years old and was not just in need of some fairly urgent repairs but also well overdue due in general exterior maintenance. We had some very old cedar siding that was rotting and allowing squirrels to chew through into our walls. It’s very annoying to be woken up extra early to the noise of squirrels running around in your bedroom walls! I was not sure who to call and asked around but either no one was available or they never called me back. So I did an internet search for the region around Boulder and the MHEC website came up. I left a message and they promptly called me back and were out to look at our “squirrel condos” within a few days. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable and friendly LaPrell was. She noticed things that other roofers & contractors had also told us needed to be fixed but also suggested some additional improvements that would make our house look better and stop potential problems from getting worse. For example, suggesting we take down a vine that was damaging the exterior walls. Our house is now squirrel and vine free with a fresh new look that LaPrell helped us to create by suggesting a new color scheme and design elements. The MHEC crew was courteous and receptive to our needs. Many of their employees have been with them for a very long time. We actually missed having them around once they were all done. We will definitely call MHEC back for future jobs because we know we can trust them to be fair, honest and do an excellent job.

Mile High Exterior Construction is a company to trust! My home was built in 1988 and I purchased in 2005. In 2015, I discovered that I needed to repair the trim due to water damage. MHEC is the company I found to make those repairs and they have been my go to company for all exterior work since then. One of the things I like about them is that I can have the same company for all my exterior work needs. It makes me more comfortable to be able to know that it’s a credible company that I can call back if there are any issues, and it’s just nice to deal with the same company each time and have a more personal relationship with them already knowing that the customer service is great as well as the quality of work. The owner LaPrell pays very close attention to detail and is willing to answer all my questions. She points out things a home owner might not normally look for to preserve the home. She treated my home as if it was hers. For the last 3 years MHEC has done the following repairs. Trim replacement above my garage door and chimney. The window trim had been installed incorrectly so she pointed that out and corrected them all. I needed siding repairs and was not sure if it was still being manufactured and she was able to locate some which I was amazed how well the repair turned out. Her employees really know their craft and are very courteous. I also had a new sliding glass door installed. My Downspouts seams had cracked from the freezing ice, so I had them replace them. They also painted my house. I will be needing a new roof soon MHEC will be the ones to install it. So, if you need an honest company and want an outstanding job don’t hesitate to call MHEC for all your exterior home improvement needs!

I found Mile High Exterior Construction by doing an online search for siding repair in Broomfield as we like to keep our money in our community. I was very happy to find Mile High Exterior Construction and even more pleased to see them on Angie's List. Harold and LaPrell were amazing to deal with throughout the entire process. They came and gave an extremely detailed, written bid with photos and even made very helpful suggestions regarding other things to be repaired for aesthetics and functionality. Daniel showed up on time every day, and did a beautiful job with siding repair, painting, cement repair, a window frame repair, and a few other odds and ends! The bid was reasonable for everything MHEC did and especially for the quality workmanship they put into it. We are very picky about how things look and are usually disappointed with the workmanship of most contractors today. We are BEYOND happy with the work MHEC did for us and will definitely call them again for anything we need done.

We contacted Mile High Exterior Company to replace some damaged siding on our house. When they came out for the free estimate, they took the time to walk around the entire house, inspecting all of it, and making recommendations and proposing fixes for things that should be repaired. The estimation process was very accurate. When the work began, they worked hard to keep us in the loop and to let us know what was happening that day. When they had completed the work, they made sure that we were pleased and that we did not have any questions or concerns. When we did have a question or concern, they answered it promptly and accurately and if there was a concern, they addressed it completely. We are very pleased with the work they did and working with the entire team at MHEC was a very good experience. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Exceptional in all ways. I highly recommend this company. Daniel problem solved, came up with a solution, worked hard and completed the job in one day. Communication with the company was exceptional. The job was completed to our satisfaction and beyond.

Ran into some weather issues that delayed things. They could have communicated a bit more on the weather delays - but overall an excellent experience!

The whole experience was excellent - communication was clear and polite, the quote was fair, and the job done quickly and professionally. I have a 60-year-old house and the gutters had to be replaced. So Mile High Exterior Construction has installed the new gutter system for the whole house, partially replaced fascia and soffits. I also asked for the roof inspection in case it needs to be repaired too. The company owner did the roof inspection (for free), and pointed out several issues, which we later decided to include in the quote. All repairs and replacements were done in accordance with the new codes. It took 2 full days to complete the project, they worked efficiently, and cleaned up the work area after. As a final touch, they trimmed the tree branches that were touching the roof and hauled away the debris.

Great - I feel they are trust-worthy and will do what it takes to make sure the work is done properly, and will take the time to show and explain to you what needs to be done. We will be having them do more exterior repair work on our home next spring.

Mile high was great again?. They put on my roof 2 years ago. They were back this time to fix some siding. When they were finish it was better than before. I would strongly recommend them.

Everything went fine. I was need to have my house painted, and I had a painter waiting for me to have new gutters installed before painting my house. It was busy season for gutter people, but MHEC was able to fit me in to work with my schedule and the painters. My old gutters leaked and their placement was not good. With MHEC, they were able to make the gutters the way I wanted them done, solving water flow problems I had with the old gutters. It turns out they had gutters pre-painted and a color available that was close to my choice of trim color. My painter used their color swatch to exact match the trim color to the gutter color. They came out and removed all the old gutters prior to my painters painting. The old gutters were installed before painting, so there was some bare wood under the old gutters. Then my painters were able to paint everything, including the old bare wood. After the painting was done MHEC came out and installed the new gutters. They did a nice job in a timely fashion, and did all they promised to do, for the price they quoted. The owner came out personally to see how everything was done. Nice people. I recommend them.

Mile High is an extremely professional and high-quality provider. This is a busy season for them, especially with all of the unusual rain that Denver is experiencing this year. It is a family-run business, so they take extreme pride and care in their workmanship. They can be contacted efficiently by phone or e-mail, as the office is staffed when they are between jobs. The workmanship is phenomenal. Even though I was satisfied with the work done, the owner (LaPrell) insisted on returning to add the final touches to make even more improvements on the gutters. While here, we discussed further needs for keeping my home area safe and dry, and they will be returning for even more work in the future. I highly recommend Mile High as an excellent company to work with!

It was an awesome experience to work with this company! I never thought I could find a company that would do the painting and gutter replacement, but they did, and it made me life so much easier to work with one company. LaPrell Wade is amazing! And then the execution of the work was equally impressive! They really cared about the details of the job, and they cared about making me happy. That is what Mile High Exterior Construction did for me! They are very customer focused. And not just one or two people in the company, but everyone who came here, whether it was for the power washing, scraping, painting or gutters. This job was more stress-free than I anticipated because Mile High Exterior is very strong and solid in what they do.They priced the job with integrity, and when new costs came up with the flashing they were very fair with explaining those costs to me and setting that pricing, too. I've used a lot of great companies from Angie's List, but this company is above and beyond what I've seen from the very best! I highly recommend them!

Work was steady and looked great. I had to get another contractor to finish some other work before this job was complete. When that was done, MEHC came in and did a great finish to the job. All owners and workers were super and I really appreciated the follow up by the owners to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Thank you MEHC.

It was great!! I picked the wrong color and LaPrell changed it for one that matched perfectly. I appreciate that she did that. She gave me a great quote and the work was done the next day. I highly recommend this company.

No complaints about the quality of the work.  It is a three step process which was cumbersome.  First a man comes out to see what you need done. He states he has no idea what the cost might be.  Then another person comes out to give you an estimate.  And finally someone comes out to actually do the work.
