Maplewood construction

Terrible company to work with! They are completely broke and subcontract to under qualified workers. They don’t stand behind anything they do!! I’m now fixing $10,000 worth of work, due to Alex cutting corners! Stay away!!

I used Maplewood Construction to tear out and re-pour my driveway and front walkway, and have had a number of issues. It seems like they used really cheap concrete which has already begun deteriorating. There are brush patterns in opposite directions and chips which have been there from day one. They used framing boards that were not straight which have resulted in a very sloppy looking concrete job. When I tried to reach them within days of the job being complete, they would not return my phone calls or emails, and the number listed then went out of service. It seemed like the company went out of business immediately following our job, so I was stuck with a a poorly done patio and out thousands of dollars. I felt very disappointed and frustrated. I trusted them to do a good job and I feel like I did not get my moneys worth. Eventually I noticed the company resurfaced on online and I was able to get through. Alex, the original person who quoted my job came out and looked it over. He told me that within two weeks they would send someone out to fix the walkway. That was the last I heard from Maplewood Construction. I have tried to call, text, and reach out on social media with no luck. In comparison to my neighbors who have had their driveways and walkways redone ours looks terrible. All other contractors I have worked with have been willing to make things right, but Maplewood Construction went completely off the radar. If you are searching for professional concrete work, I suggest you take your business elsewhere.

Maplewood Construction was an awesome company to work with. They talked through everything up front and could show me a break down of pricing and a basic sketch depending on what I wanted for landscaping and a paver patio. They answered any questions I had and ended up finishing early!
