Keith met with us to discuss our planned remodel. Two weeks later he gave us a thorough bid with estimated costs and a time line. We received 3 other bids. The bids were not too much difference in price. However, Keith seemed the most comfortable with how to best tackle the full removal of a structural wall (some wanted to only partially remove) and had strong referrals and experience in the area. All of the Subs were very pleasant and punctual and have worked with Keith for many years. Everyone always arrived when scheduled and worked hard. The job was estimated to take 5 or 6 weeks and finished on time, with no surprises. Keith was also very patient when we requested changes or wanted to add something. He really worked hard to make sure we were happy with the project. The final product exceeded our expectations. Our great room and kitchen area is now a wonderful, comfortable, family gather place. We plan to employ Keith for other future remodel projects!

Keith was in and out within his projected time frame. His scheduling of the subcontractors went like clockwork. Throughout the project, he made helpful suggestions and displayed creativity when challenges arose, such as with the odd-sized medicine cabinet. Keith daily laid tarps over our stairs and in the master bedroom to reduce the tracking of construction debris. He even built "plastic houses" around the construction area for the skylights! We could not be happier with the final results! I often walk into our "new" bath and go "ahhh"! We would use him again and again!

The guy who came out showed up on time. He is neat and organized and very easy to work with to this point. I thought that his pricing was very reasonable.

Mr. Nick always arrived exactly at the scheduled time, both for the initial visit and when he came to do the work. He completed the work in 1/2 day as estimated. He also accommodated a last-minute request from me to fix the door jamb on the door from the garage to the kitchen; he repaired the jamb (which was cracked), leveled the door so it again latches correctly, and oiled the hinges and locks. I am very pleased and will call on him again as I progress through my remodeling.

Keith is a GREAT carpenter and a WONDERFUL man. We were introduced to him by the man who painted our house (see Dave's painting on Angie's List) as one of the finest carpenters around. Really, we hardly taxed his skills - he's especially known for his cabinet work. He is utterly reliable, completely trustworthy and a joy to know. We plan to hire him again (if he's in the country; he does carpentry work overseas as a missionary) and have recommended him to any and all friends who need quality work done. If you live around Boulder, Colorado, and need any kind of remodeling work, you simply cannot go wrong with Keith Nick.
