OVERALL EXPERIENCE IS THAT THEY MAKE A GOOD PRODUCT, BUT THEY WERE RUDE, INCONSIDERATE, INCOMPETENT AND INEPT IN EVERY DEPARTMENT EXCEPT WHERE WE PICKED OUT OUR COLORS, CARPET, ETC. NO RETURNED PHONE CALLS, THEY MISSED OUR WALK THROUGH B/C (THOUGH OUR REAL ESTATE AGENT CONFIRMED DATE AND TIME) THEY SCHEDULED IT AT A DIFFERENT TIME THEN WE WERE TOLD. THEY TORE DOWN A PORCH WITH A ROOF THAT THEY HAD ALREADY BUILT WHICH WAS NOT IN OUR CONTRACT BECAUSE WE REFUSED TO PAY FOR IT. THESE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE MANY EXAMPLES OF THEIR FAILURES IN OUR EXPERIENCE ALONE. NEIGHBORS ALSO HAD A POOR EXPERIENCE.

AL GARCIA, THE SALESMAN IS A LIAR AND ALL OF DR HORTON'S FINANCE PEOPLE ARE LIARS. THEY SENT ME A 'GOOD' FAITH ESTIMATE AND THEN WOULD NOT STAND BY IT AT CLOSING TIME. I HAVE TALKED TO 11 PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE.
