David is honest and does great work. He is professional with great customer service! It’s uncommon to find folks like him anymore. He is an independent small business owner, friendly, and just a genuinely nice guy.

They were prompt for all appointments. Cheerful, friendly and clearly explained everything about the work. Gave me photos before the work, during the work and after the work. The price and guaranteed work was reasonable.

My insurance company said that my roof needed replacement. I contacted roofers from Angi list. One said without looking that based on the year the existing roof was put on I did indeed needed a roof. He sent a brochure and left it at that. When I called Dave Wakins, he came the same day to inspect the roof and said the roof indeed needed replacement due to hail damage and was able to find the date the hail storm came through. He took photos and prepared an insurance claim. The claim was thorough enough that there was no debate with the insurance company. My tenants were on vacation and I asked Dave to replace the roof while they were gone, just over 1 week from the first contact. He was done by the requested date. Dave supported me each step of the way both in the roofing and filling out insurance forms. He made the process as painless as possible. Dave demonstrated superb customer service

Building PeopleLLLC did such a great job on repairing our roof, when we were ready to replace our roof, we called them directly and had them do the work. Dave helped us through the entire process including answering our HOA questions. They were done quickly, did a great job and cleaned up at the end of the day.

We have experienced a lot of various water related issues with the gutters and I have done some prevention but fall is here so I wanted it done better than what I had done. I had Building People, LLC clean and install gutter accessories to make sure our water problems didn't return during winter and in spring. Dave was excellent at working with me and ensured he got the job done right and thoroughly including trying to help prevent more clogs from happening in the future. I am very happy with this work.

Prompt, timely, fair price.

Dave came out to seal a leak around a vent on my roof that was coming down and dripping through the exhaust fan in my bathroom ceiling. He communicated very well, showed up on time and completed the work quickly. I slept in when he was supposed to come and didn't answer the door so he went ahead up on the roof and did the job anyway, and then even made a second trip out at no charge to get up in the attic and check for any water damage that had occurred from the leak! I'll definitely be contracting with these guys for any future roofing needs.

Davis was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the issue(s) clearly and recommended options. Once decided on how to proceed, the estimate was sent quickly and left no room for misunderstanding. Once hired, we scheduled the work and it was completed quickly and expertly. Highly recommend. These guys are great. Getting ahold of them and scheduling took a little effort but the work was great and they were understanding and very skilled. Also helped us fix damage to my house soffit.

David the owner came to my house and quoted me a fair and competitive price. He was friendly and a pleasure to work with. He cleaned off and sealed my flat top roof and detached garage roof. Both look great!
