I've waited almost two years to write this review, as I wanted to see how the reglazing would hold up. I had had this tub reglazed in the past and it barely lasted 4 months. The person who did it would never return my calls. So far the tub looks perfect. No chipping or peeling - VERY happy with the results. I have a cleaning service and they have cleaned it as recommended.
Barry is very timely and professional and I would definitely call him again when needed.

I really wanted to  write a good review for Barry, but he sabatoged it too many times.  I thought I would just not write one at all, but ultimately I needed to write a negative one.  After studying Angie's List I made my choice of Bath Pro, Inc, somewhat hesitantly due to others mentioning a problem with returning phone calls.  So I called and left a message.  I called again the next day and the next, at least 5 times before he returned my call, seems like he mentioned a problem with his answering machine.  We discussed what I wanted - bathtub reglazed in almond with a nonslip area.  We set up a date a couple of weeks out I think, for 9:00.  The day came and I waited and waited.  Finally about 10:30 I called.  He answered, was waiting for me to call, apologized, said he had lost my information, and now it was too late to come this day, and he rescheduled for the next morning.  He then came on time and was professional, thorough and fast and cleaned up well.  The tub looked great.  That evening when it didn't smell quite as strong I went in and looked more closely and felt it; I was disappointed to find it wasn't perfectly smooth, many tiny bumps, either dust or the sand that was used for the non-slip surface. It took several phone calls before Barry returned my calls; he did not seem troubled and said he would come out and buff it, which we set up a few days later.  He came and buffed for about half an hour - it did feel smoother but lost a little of its luster.  He said he didn't have time to finish, would return soon when he got a break.  I waited a couple of weeks and started leaving messages for him to call me.  After quite a while,  he did.  He had no remembrance of the buffing situation, but promised he would be back out within 2 weeks.  Well, 2 weeks was up a month ago, and I am tired of dealing with him.  It's a pretty good job, just wish it was as good as the one we had done 12 years ago, and not such a frustrating experience.

This was an all around excellent service.  Easy to schedule, very flexible.  Professional while on site.  Price is very competitive.  The work quality is stunning - he turned a 1950s pink tub into a beautiful white modern piece. 
Fumes are worth noting, this is not just a simple paint job.  To create durability the treatment uses powerful chemicals, but full ventilation was provided and it was an issue for us - easily managed with a towel under the door.
This is by far the best way remodel an outdated fixture.  while not as durable as the factory finish, we have had this tub in use in our home for the last 45 days (with kids - you know how tough they are on tubs) and the finish is still pristine.

Great! Barry got me scheduled and showed up on time. Used a vent blower which greatly reduced the toxic fumes. Tub looks like new!

Very pleased with the results.  Barry was reliable, friendly and on time.  Be prepared for a strong chemical smell during the process, but the bathtub looked great when it was finished.

I'm very pleased with the results.  The results look great, and I would not hesitate to recommend the service.  One draw back is that the procedure smells really bad, inside and even outside of the house, fortunately this house was unoccupied at the time.

We were pleased with the bath tub refinishing except for one important matter.  The bottom of the tub, after refinishing, is very slick.  Bath Pro's information sheet says not to use bath mats with suction cups.  I have not been able to find options to these mats (except for a wet towel which we are now using).  I called Bath Pro twice but have yet to hear back from the local tech or get an Email indicating an option for the slick tub bottom.  We also found a thin layer of dust that stuck to the bathroom sink surface.  This is not a large matter but the slick tub bottom is.

Barry had to spend 6 hours to remove the old attempts at refinishing work
and to restore some very poor surfaces to a smooth finish. It cost extra
for this work but was well worth it. Barry was on time and performed in
a very professional way in every respect. I would give him an
unqualified recommendation to anyone.

We have been remodeling parts of our home.   The harvest gold fiberglass
bathtub/shower combo in the lower level was in bad shape and the white
one upstairs was bad too.  It would have been a huge job to replace them
so I decided to check out bathtub refinishing.  I found Bath Pro on
Angie's list.  I had them both refinished in white.  They are 40 years
old but they look like new.  I even got a discount for having them both
done at the same time.  I am very satisfied with the outcome.

I got several quotes for bathtub and tile surround refinishing and decided to use Bath Pro.  The process took two days because the tub had been refinished previously and had to be stripped.  Total time was about ten hours of work.  Barry showed up both days on time and prepared for work, and was very friendly and informative as to the process and results.  The work was done very professionally, cleanly, and looks great!  I'm very satisfied and would recommend Bath Pro for tub and tile refinishing. 

Everything was great.  Barry arrived on time and made my old 50+ year-old tub look like new in about 3 1/2 hours.  Very pleased with the job.

He completely stripped out the old, chipped and scratched almond tub re-glaze that was probably done in the'80s, and refinished it in a bright shiny white; it looks like a new tub.

Brought ventilation equipment so that the smell and fumes in the rest of the house (and in the bathroom after he finished) were minimal. Returned the following week to finish touching up caulking around the tub edges. Very punctual, efficient, very pleasant to interact with.  Highly recommend Barry's services.

Within days of contacting Bath Pro, we had an appointment to have our chipped tub resurfaced. The technician arrived a few minutes early on the day promised and got straight to work. He was unsure that he could remove the shower door frame which was going to make the job look more professional, but he persevered without incident. The procedure had very little odor. There was absolutely no mess when he was finished and the tub looked brand new. The bright white newness was enhanced by the beautiful job he did of caulking around the tile and tub and the shower door frame, tile and tub. He was a very personable technician and worked hard to complete the job in the promised amount of time. He happily came back to our home, which was a hike back up into the mountains, to rehang the shower doors for $50. The total price I quoted above included this return fee. He left paperwork which included instructions on how to maintain the new surface and how to comply with the terms of the warranty. We are thrilled with the results. Someone had suggested that we replace the tub and we were just not interested in the mess and long haul of a partial bathroom remodel. This was a perfect answer to our problem. We were most pleased with the price charged. The technician was a gentleman who answered all of my husband's many questions. And we just cannot say enough about the beautiful final product! We would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who finds themselves in the same boat.

Barry was extremely professional. He has been doing this for 25 years and knows exactly what he is doing. Despite some extremely unfortunate family circumstances Barry stayed on schedule and got the job done. Barry was willing to go above and beyond what other contractors might have done in a similar situation. He came in on a Saturday and Sunday to make sure the job was finished properly. I highly recommend using Barry if you have been thinking about having an old tub and tile surround refinished. He spent nearly 6 hours prepping the surface to ensure that it was perfectly clean before refinishing. I can't tell you how satisfied I am with the job he did! The tub and tile looks awesome now!
