I got three bids for this job, and ended up giving it to AMK Hardscapes based on price and the quality of work I saw at other sites. They put the pavers in around January of 2013, and did a pretty decent job on the first go around. There are some low spots where the pavers settled and Mike Jaramillo, the owner, promised me they would come back in the early spring to correct these after all the settling had finished. I paid him in full, which in hindsight turned out to be a big mistake. Well, spring came and went, and I was constantly calling Mike to come out and finish the job, with him promising to be there several times, and then not showing up. While this was going on, I realized when I tried to start up my sprinkler system, his crew had broken my main water line for the sprinkler system and paved right over it. I tried to get him to also come out and fix that, as all of my landscaping was dying, and again, broken promises and dodged calls was all I got. I finally had to pay another landscaper to troubleshoot the problem and verify that AMK did the damage. Since all my landscaping is dying, and I cannot get AMK to even return my calls, let alone fix the problems, I have no choice but to hire someone else to fix it, and pursue legal action against AMK to collect what I had to spend. No integrity here at all, beware of AMK Hardscapes!
