Discovery Road Management Llc

After staying in a smaller home this company has managed for years, we were instructed by the owner to ask them to clean the place. We then get a cleaning bill for $630 for 18 hours of cleaning at $35/hour over a four day period. Mind you that this bill did not include window cleaning, exterior cleaning, car washing, gardening or anything else but an interior cleaning. This is not a big place. It is a condo, and part of a duplex. I'd say the living space is markedly less than 2,500 square feet. We left this house completely in order, and I dare say clean, and ready for another occupant. We were prepared to pay, at the most, $200. More likely $100 to $150, and we would expect it to be absolutely immaculate after that. That Discovery Road Management did not recognize this to be an exorbitant charge, and that they did not bother to inform us about this huge expense, and that they did not provide us with an option to find our own cleaner, is absolutely despicable, lame, deplorable, sneaky, and rude. I will cross myself and say "caveat emptor" (let the buyer beware) should this company's name come up in conversation.
