I had All-American Heating install a new boiler about four years ago and agreed to a maintenance agreement. Each time a technician came for the annual servicing, he identified an issue that resulted from poor servicing the prior year. Finally, last week we had a small leak at a pipe at the bottom of our hot water storage tank and the head technician told us that the leak was from the bottom of the tank and it needed to be replaced ($5800+). I called them and told him that I know the tank cost would be $1750 and four hours of labor (per head tech) would not add up to $5800. He and the owner held firm with the replacement cost. Based on our prior history of paying for their mistakes, I did not trust them and got a second opinion. I brought in another plumber who located the leak at the pipe (not the tank!) and fixed it for under $200. I would NEVER recommend this company.

John and his team really understand forced hot air systems which is rare in the summit county area where the majority of the heating systems are hot water based systems. John was very creative in coming up with a solution for our 800 sq ft cabin that did not previously have central heating. He was able to convert a very small closet to the furnace closet and came up with good options for distributing the air throughout the house that were not too impactful to the minimal space we had. The installation work itself was completed on schedule and with high quality. They were also able to meet are request for remote control of the thermostat, they have a good understand of new technologies in the industry. Lindsay in the office is great to work with on scheduling. The best part of the project has been the service after the install. We're doing a major remodel and were not able to complete some of the system after the install due to other work we have going on. Even though I've already paid in full they have been very contentious about following up with me to see when they can come out and complete the final steps. Really great service!

This was a major re-do of an installation done by another contractor that was less than a year old and simply not working properly. Everyone, from the office support to the on-the-job crew, was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They also worked well as a team throughout the month-long process and I was kept well informed at every step. I give John Fulling significant credit for taking time at the outset to thoughtfully inspect the existing systems, identify the problems, and then propose solutions that fit the situation. Because of the magnitude of the job, they encountered some unexpected challenges and he and his crew took the time to do it right rather than just pursue some easier alternatives. John guaranteed at the outset that the systems would work properly at the contracted price or All American would return at no cost to me until they did. They work just fine as promised. I will continue to use them for my regular furnace checkups.

see above. Overall disappointing on the followup of what may be faulty initial service. Service techs did appear to give an honest attempt to fix the problem with multiple return visits. Just got tired of paying full price for multiple rechecks with and quot;nothing wrongand quot; despite multiple (continuing) heater failures.

"1st trip diagnosis and gas leak check found leaks and quoted repairs on 20 plus year old unit with parts not available or in production due to its age. Informed client recommended replacement as any professional company would do. 2nd trip Returned and replaced leaking gas valve, checked with combustion analyzer system burning and operating per MFG spec. 3rd trip tech found tstat display missing and stat not operating correctly replaced stat. 4th trip was an overtime call, not during normal business hours tech arrived system was operating fine upon his inspection recommended sending tech back during normal business hours to check system. 5th trip technician found system operating fine at this time system has intermittent problems checked all components and checked out ok. Client replaced unit with a company out of Denver. Technicians recommended this from the start. We were happy to apply services towards the purchase of a new unit client declined. I apologize for all the problems but sometimes it’s very difficult to find problems especially when the unit is running ok with the technician there. This can sometimes take several trips to identify the problem."

Installation was done during peak period for all furnance vendors. Lead technician was excellent and very knowledgeable. Vendor provided options and an open dicussion when a small issue was uncovered prior to the installation. One piece of the furnace was not installed properly but was quickly rectified after a phone call to the main office.
