Your Sprinkler Guy

I've used Mike for 6+ years and he's excellent, dependable and honest. He's done major repairs having to cut through concrete to get to lines installed (the wrong way by original owner of home), he's repaired other zones digging through dirt and stone to get to the issue. He's old-school and a breath of fresh air in this place that is "The Republic of Boulder". I appreciate his services and frank personality. Keep up the good work Mike!

As a result of the comments posted here I decided to give Mike a try. He was responsive, courteous, and prompt He scheduled an appointment close in time to my phone call, gave me an estimate, and completed the repair. The worker that is referenced in the negative review as not being able to speak good English, happens to be someone who has worked for Mike for years, is Honduran, and speaks excellent English. More importantly, he fixed the problem in no time. Because I was willing to take a chance on Mike, despite the report here, he did not charge me a cent! Mike was unaware that the negative report existed. Lesson learned here is read the reports carefully (between the lines) and follow your own good judgment.

Beware of Mike Finnesy: dba "Your Sprinkler Guy" (tel 303 641 0305) and "Flatirons Carpet & Upholstery" (tel 303 443 0318) Address: 2810 Cordry Ct, Boulder, CO 80303/PO Box 19373, Boulder, CO 80308. Finnesy sells Certificates for "Your Sprinkler Guy" on The Radio Shopping Show (AM 1060) worth "$65--one hour sprinkler service". I purchased a Certificate; made appointment w/Finnesy who arrived 45 minutes LATE (had phoned TWICE earlier to say he's "lost address & directions".) I gave Certificate to Finnesy & asked what additional charges I might incur. Finnesy stated: "This Certificate is good for one hour. Should we not finish in one hour, you will be charged a portion of an additional hour at $65/hour." Finnesy quickly LEFT property, leaving 2 non-English speaking men who worked 55 minutes, then left. Finnesy sent statement charging $55. additional time. I wrote Finnesy that I was at the work site & work was completed in 55 minutes. Finnesy would not remove the "additional time charge of $55" stating he'd left 2 men so was charging DOUBLE. Finnesy is commiting fraud in his misrepresentation of how he charges. Likely he observed I am a 65+ single lady & thought he could get away with "elder fraud". DON'T be defrauded by Finnesy.
