People were very nice but unfortunately they were not able to provide any service to me and yet still charged me for nothing. They said there was nothing wrong with my car. I took it to Flatiron's Subaru and they were able to actually find what the issue was.

My 2002 WRX had a torn axle boot and some other related symptoms. The dealer quoted a higher price to replace just the axle boot. Super Rupair replaced the entire side of the axle with an OEM (refurb) axle. Not a cheap repair but better than the dealer by far. I used a coupon to save a bit on labor.

I've never owned a new car.  I'm the sort that buys a decent used car with a reputation for reliability and I spend whatever it takes to keep it mechanically perfect.  I think I've saved a lot of money over the years compared to the cost of buying new.  I've been driving a 1999 Subaru Outback wagon (~230,000 miles) for several years now.  Obviously, to make this work you need an honest shop that knows the car and does quality work.  If you drive a Subaru, these guys are that sort of shop.  Over the years, I've spent thousands on repair work at Super Rupair, including a complete rebuilt engine for >$4000.  Everything they've done has been great.  The engine has been running perfectly for the last 30,000 miles.  With this many miles on the car I expect to replace worn parts occasionally.  They know these cars so well that they always identify the problem and often suggest less expensive repair alternatives if warranted.  They put in a used window washer pump for me once for $20 in parts.  They will also give you an idea about the priority of repairs and suggest which ones can be put off if you're short of $$.  They charge standard rates for the work they do and use Subaru parts, which is fair considering the quality of the work.  They also have very inexpensive loaner/rental cars so you can get around while the car is in the shop.  Super Rupair is great and I expect to continue giving them my business.

They are great, awesome and fantastic.  Everything with them went great.  They are very good at letting me know if there is any issues and how bad it is.  They tell me how well can get it taken care of or if I do not, I will have to think about it in the future.  They always give me the heads up the next time I go there for an oil change.  They have a great staff and are very into customer service.  They explain things really well which makes a great deal to a girl like me who knows nothing about cars.  They have like a frequent buyer’s card where I pay for six oil changes and get the seventh one free.   I would use them again in the future.

They machined my brake rotors.  When I applied the break I noticed a vibration in the front end of the car.  They were able to diagnose my issue quickly and fixed it.  The staff was very cordial and friendly.  They had a van service available that ran every hour that would take you home if need be.  They also offered $9 day car rental which I chose to do.  The quality of work was good.  The price was expensive but cheaper than the dealership.  They even wrote me a followup letter as a first time customer hoping to see me back which was a nice gesture on their part.

It went fine, as usual. Before any work is done on the car, I was giving (as usual) a detailed explanation (in English, not carspeak) as to what the problem was, how soon it should be fixed, the consequences of waiting, etc.

Then the work was done, and my car is running great, again, as usual.

Super Rupair has been my go-to for the past 4+ years, since moving to Boulder. I checked out the local Subaru dealer, and then checked out Super Rupair. I can't say enough good things about them. They saved me $1500 when my head gasket was leaking, by sending me to an official dealer and contacting Subaru (turns out this problem was an issue for my car, hence a 50% discount was granted by Subaru). They did not have to tell me this, but they are incredibly honest, and have the customer's best interest at heart. The rest of my repairs on this car were necessary, and I know I got the best deal from them, especially compared to an "official" dealer. They are awesome! 'Nuff said.

From quote to service to payment, it went very well. While my experience is limited with this group, I will be going back as my aging subaru needs help.

Their website listed a 2005 Outback with 120,000 miles and hail damage for $7,880 (plus $925 taxes, etc.), compared to $12,000 for the blue book value. We looked at it and there was only a little hail damage. I did an eBay search and found the same model with fewer miles had closed around $8500, in Ohio, Texas, etc. I'm willing to pay a premium to buy a car locally so we were pleased with the price. My mechanic checked it out and made a list of problems: both valve cover gaskets leaking oil onto the spark plugs, one bad wheel bearing, one parking lightbulb burned out, low power steering fluid, fan belts overtightened, and the headlights were aimed to the left. The next day they fixed everything and we picked up the car. We're pleased with the car but I'm giving them a B because they didn't disclose the car's problems when we first looked at it. When I sell stuff on eBay I list everything little scratch or problem, I don't want customers leaving negative feedback. If I'd bought the car from a private party on Craig's List I wouldn't have expected the seller to know of or repair problems, as they're not professional mechanics. But I expected Blue Spruce to disclose all the problems. So I recommend buying from Blue Spruce but I also recommend paying a mechanic to check over the car before you buy it.

I went in for a routine oil change, but I also had some body damage. They have used parts, and when they found out about my problem, they did a complete estimate. It seemed so reasonable that I went with it. I was amazed. I have a new car now! They even buffed the entire car, which removed some paint marks from a wooden pole that I had never been able to remove myself. My car is purring now. The front office people have been there for a long time, and their knowledge shows.

I knew that things were wrong with the transmission and clutch but was not sure of the extent of the trouble. The folks at Super Rupair did a diagnosis and then stepped me through everything that was wrong, the fix-up options and what else was worn and would be much cheaper to replace while certain things were taken apart. They even have sample parts at the service desk so that they can explain what is going on (sort of like the models in your doctor's office). They did the work I approved (most of what they suggested) in two trips to spread out the expense (the two trips thing was my request). They kept me up to date with the progress and got my car back to me by the end of the day (both times). Holy cow, the car drives like new! I forgot how peppy and responsive it used to be (hint, it's not a new car by any means). I have been to Super Rupair several times but this was my first major repair experience.
