Slade did a nice job installing the glass in my cabinet doors. After picking them up and getting them home, I realized there was a problem with the door. I returned to Slade and explained the problem and they were very courteous and professional. They made things right and I am happy with the results. Despite the problem, I would use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for glass services.

We had a wonderful experience with Slade Glass.  They came out to provide an estimate on October 11 and offered to replace any windows that day which were not double-paned or tempered.  
I received a full estimate by the next morning (Friday) and gave them a 50% deposit by credit card so that they could order the glass.  Knowing that we had guests arriving a week later who would stay in the basement, Slade offered to do everything they could to rush the order and install the minute the glass arrived.  
I received a call first thing Thursday morning that the glass had arrived, with an offer to do our installation this morning.  I had to be on the phone for a work call when the installer arrived, so I waved him in and he was completely comfortable completing the work independently.
We had two new beautiful windows by the time our guests arrived later that day.  Thank you Slade Glass!

After asking for a new glass door to be installed, I was told an initial measurement would need to be taken. The technician was early to the appointment (positive surprise) and relayed the measurements. To my good luck, they had that particular size of double-glaze glass in stock. The technician returned with the new glass, cleaned up the hundres of pieces of broken tempered glass, and installed the new sheet within an hour. A few minutes more of trim work and all was good-as-new!
He was very professional, confident of his work, and good-humored to boot. Highly recommend Slade Glass! I later found their price to be close to half of two other companies who also bid for the same job.

We liked them even though they are little more expensive than other glass companies.

Their price was competitive and I will use them again in the future.

This contractor was chosen by the lumber company. Somewhere before I joined the project, someone ordered the color of glass incorrectly (not sure it was their fault) and then the entire project was put on hold when the General Contractor was fired. I am his replacement. Maybe it's because they had a bad taste in their mouth from the previous contractor, but every opportunity they had to interface with me and the homeowner, they made it as difficult as possible. After spending $140,000 with them, they nickel and dimmed me to death. Or should I say $200-$500 me to death. Every change order was met with obnoxious estimates so I ended up hiring other contractors to finish many of the details at a fraction of what Slade was attempting to charge. The only shining light in the experience was Josh who was despite the example his management sets, did his best to provide a positive customer experience.

The knowledgable and friendly estimator visited and measured. The windows were ordered and installed a few weeks later.

Great experience. Slade Glass handled every aspect of the two jobs we had them do with professionalism. They were quick, courteous and the work was exceptional quality. Highly recommended for custom glass work.

Slade Glass has been in business for many years. They do a good job. It is easy to schedule a free estimate. It does take several weeks to have the glass made and schedule the install.
