I called about getting some trees pruned last summer and Ken came out and spent an hour going around my yard to inspect and offer advice beyond just tree trimming. Ken showed his deep knowledge and appreciation for trees and shrubs and made recommendations. He came back a few days later to prune my ash and maples but waited until early spring for the fruit trees. The trees look great as he cleaned them up but kept their character. It was probably more expensive than using other tree services but it was worth it to know the trees were well cared for. I also signed up to have Ken take care of fertilization through the year.

I found Ken when I decided my lawn need fertilizing and I really didn't want do it conventionally. He uses 100% organic fertilizer! It takes a while longer, but I think it's better for the environment. As for the trees, I called him up and left him a message. He got back to me on the second day early in the morning. It worked out that we both had the morning free and out he came and hour or so later. He started with the Russian Olive in the front and shaped it beautifully. He seems to have a quite a knack. And then on to the tree in the back, another Russian Olive. He trimmed back the many saplings growing from it, but left a few for the future. The tree has a great deal of squirrel damage and he suggested that we wait to see if it survived the winter before we decide to cut it down.
