They had to break through an interior wall and they patched it all up. It looks great. I won't use anybody else.

KDT has done 3 major renovations for us:  kitchen remodel, deck replacement, and entertainment room renovation.  For the kitchen we had the challenge of rearranging the floor plan by switching a 48" refrigerator with a double oven combination, yet preserving the majority of custom cabinets.  Kent was very creative and managed to piece together a plan that allowed us to use nearly all our existing cabinets, and have the remainder custom made. He and his partner Larry oversaw all details which included window replacement, granite installation, plumbing, electrical.  He always worked with us, offering alternative ideas to save money or improve the project.  When replacing the deck he and Larry discovered poor construction, and after showing us the potentially dangerous problem, rectified that issue before proceeding.  The major renovation was enlarging a room in the lower level.  This included removing a wall, destroying a stone wall and fireplace, working with backlit onyx, painting, tiling, and finding a way to relocate a heating manifold.  They either did the work themselves or found really great subcontractors.  The results are spectacular, and we continue to call Kent as a first resource on any house issues. 
Because Kent had come so highly recommended, we did not get other estimates so we have no idea how his prices compare.  That said, we were pleased that he and Larry arrived every morning until each job was finished, and the work is of excellent quality.  In addition, Kent and Larry are really great guys, and knowledgeable about just about everything.  We enjoyed having coffee in the morning with them, lunch when were were around, and interesting and enlightening conversations.
We cannot imagine having a better experience.
