The owner seems to understand the level of the job and assigns the job accordingly to good people.
They talked to me when they came to do the job and did as requested.
Eco handyman let me know if I bought the materials myself, which ones were good and which ones needed to be measured for the task so I wouldn't waste my money.
I guess I'm not an expert in what they did and am not really going to go up in the attic and inspect (but what I saw looked like a lot of insulation, and the infrared camera later showed that the area of the attic over my office was now not showing up as leaking heat and cold like before), and I haven't pulled open my can lights to see the caulk, etc. So I guess I'm somewhat assuming they did a good job on the things I can't see. The duct sealing was kind of messy in the basement, and I wish they had warned me about that. The dark mastic is painted onto my drywall and such. It was ugly down there anyway because I don't have a ceiling in the basement, but it's a little extra ugly now.
Elaine in the office is very helpful. She worked at the communication aspect when I had questions, and she managed to get me in on the last day to qualify for the rebates even though they were deluged with people trying to hire them for the same reason. I really appreciated that!
We haven't really had winter weather yet, so I don't know how much my energy bills will be affected. I hope it will be substantial.
Very happy overall and would use them again. Don't hestitate to ask them for references and to follow up on those references.
