handyman service
 + -1 moreGiovanni was supposed to arrive at 7am but called and changed it to 8 then 9 due to car trouble. He arrived at 9am and looked over the job and said he would be back at about 11am. He did not make it at 11 but called several times during the day to say he had another job in progress and would be over in 1 hour/soon, etc. He finally came at 6pm but we sat around all day waiting. He installed the toilet and the shutoff valve but could not stop the valve connection from dripping slightly. He left at 930pm and came back the next morning at 915am and left at 1015am with the valve connection still leaking. He came back that evening at 6pm with his associate Ed and they fixed the leaky pipe connected to the valve. There have been no leaks since. One thing I must say is I think this was a small job for him at least compared to the one he was working on during that first day when he was supposed to be here. He stuck with the problem and fixed it, in the end, for not a lot of money. Thank you Giovanni.
Description of Work: Installed new toilet and new shutoff valve. The old toilet had already been removed and the new toilet was unpacked and ready to go. One thing that made the toilet installation more difficult was that my closet flange was crooked and not level with the floor. Another complication was the copper supply line had been crimped by the original home builder. This made it very difficult to install the new valve without leaking.
