CHARLEYS GARAGE

My Highlander Hybrid was up for a 90K service and timing belt change. After less-than stellar service at the local dealer and another independent shop I found my way to Charley's Garage for this big job.  He needed to schedule a couple days out but had it done promptly, paid attention to all the little details, and the car drives great. The price was slightly less than the dealership and the quality of the work and service was a huge improvement. It's nice to know I won't have to take it back in to re-fix what should have been done correctly in the first place. Plus, Charley did not call midway through to hard sell extra services like the other shops -- usually air filters, extra fluids, tires, etc. I think he would only do that if the car actually needed it. If you take your Toyota to Charleys, just beware it is a little tricky to find behind a German auto service and Mexican statue shop.

Charley's Garage is the kind of place where I can take my car and know
that they will be fair and responsible.  I can always count on a call
before they spend extra money and that whatever is done to my car really
needs to be done.  I cannot recommend Charley's for your Toyota needs
with any higher recommendation.  They do a fantastic job and are kind to
boot.

When I realized that my 4WD wasn't working, I panicked because I had planned to go skiing in just a few days. I needed to find a shop to fix my car quickly. I hadn't used a shop other than the dealer because I had a long-term service contract, but it had recently expired. I called the dealer but they were booked for a week. I called my regular shop (where they work mostly on Hondas) and asked if they could recommend a shop that works on Toyotas and they recommended Charley's. Not only did Charley's Garage fix my car at a reasonable price, Charley fit me into his schedule the day after I called, so I was able to make the ski trip. I'm incredibly glad I found Charley's and I'll definitely use his services again.

They were excellent! They took me in rather quickly. I appreciate that he worked within my limitations. I also felt like he was honest with me and didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need. I went to him because they were referred to me by another place that couldn't get me in.

Charley's has been caring for our family fleet of Toyotas for almost 10 years. Although the access road and parking lot to Charley's is abominable, it is well worth that inconvenience. They are knowledgeable, courteous, prompt, professional and all the things you long for in a trusted mechanic.
