CG Tile & Bath

Chris installed 19"x19" x 1/2" ceramic tiles over the old tile - saving us the problem of tile removal. His tile job is gorgeous with perfect fit and thin 1/8" grout lines. I can't imagine anyone else doing such a perfect artistic job. He is professional and efficient - finished the entire job in 1 week and cleaned up spotlessly afterward. I can't recommend him highly enough!

We started with wall-to-wall carpet glued to a concrete slab and needed to rplace the carpet with tile. After pulling up the carpet, Chris helped us remove the glue in preparation for the tile. This was a difficult job that required hand scraping followed by the use of a concrete grinder to remove the rest of the glue. Chris laid the porcelain tile (500 ft2) in 3 days. He did an outstanding job fitting the tile around floor outlets, pillars and existing tiled areas and showed unsual attention to detail. Another aspect of the job was the construction of a trap door that accessed a floor heating manifold. He showed ingenuity using backer board with a recessed handle that allowed easy removal of the door. We were completely pleased with the results as is evident by the accompanying photos. Chris was extremely cooperative during the entire process. He was neat and clean, removed all the cutting debris and left the garage cutting area spotless. We would recommend him to anyone is interested in superb workmanship at a reasonable cost.
