The results are exceptional! Beautiful craftsmanship, delivered on time and on budget. The matching of veneers on adjoining cabinets and drawers is exceptional. They satisfy our desire to be environmentally sensitive (wheatboard interiors) without sacrificing appearance. We had some difficulties in communicating through the general contractor, but whenever we worked directly with Bruce, the communication was clear and direct. He did not over-promise on delivery dates, even though he knew we would have preferred to have them sooner. When the general contractor's carpenter seriously damaged the cabinets as he was installing them, and installed them in the wrong positions, Bruce used his influence to get the subcontractors he normally uses to appear onsite promptly and to remain for several days until the damage was repaired and the cabinets were re-installed in the proper locations with doors perfectly aligned, cabinets level and well secured. Now that we have had the cabinets in place for about 6 years we find the finish is wearing off in heavily used areas and around the sinks and dishwasher. When I say heavily used, this is moderated by the fact that there are only 2 of us living here, and we travel at least 2-3 months/year. And I am a bit of a neat freak, plus I loved the cabinets and felt I was being very careful with them. The cabinets have a lifetime warranty, so we called and the owner Bruce came over. He said that the use of an environmentally friendly finish had nothing to do with the problem, and that it was to be expected. He said he would come back to touch up the finish. I asked him if he wouldn't prefer to take the doors with him, expecting they would need to be sprayed and a shop would be a better location. He did take one, and when it was returned the corner was dinged. The rest were done in place by dabbing varnish on. This is visible when the light strikes it just right and seems totally at variance with the care in constructing them in the first place.. And the delamination on the corners remains where the worn off finish allowed the water to get under the veneer. This is not the quality of repair we expected for this beautiful cabinetry.
