Excellent installation and customer attention; zero complaints, very satisfied.

It was a good experience in the early phases. Toward the end, the company ran into major financial problems. They‘ve been hard to reach and now I’m not sure I can reach them at all. It terms of follow up and maintenance, I can’t connect with anyone.

They are very very responsive, came out met with me in my home, was extremely knowledgeable, and had a good program. The only reason why we didn't install it was that it wasn't financially possible at the time. He has followed up with me since then and changed some of the rules, sending me an updated quote for this year. They have an extremely good reputation, I actually heard about them through the radio.

Astralux completed installation of solar panels on 8/13/2009 at my house. I tried to pay the installers on that date. Thei nstallers would not take payment and stated that I would receive a bill. Two previous payments had been made to the Astrulux representative. The bill arrived in December with three months of interest. I paid the balance minus the interest and then received a bill for the interest. I talked to an Astralux accountant on 12/30/2009 who told me he would speak with the owner who was out of town. I spoke to the same accountant on 1/5/2010 and then to the owners wife and then the owner. The owners wife stated that according to the contract, they do not send invoices. But in fact, they do send invoices because they sent me an invoice in December. After speaking to the owner, he told me on 1/5/2010 that I owed no interest. I called the accountant on 1/6/2010 asking for a statement showing a 0 balance. He stated he needed to speak to the owner. In the late afternoon of 1/6, I received a phone message from the owner asking me to call him. I called him back at which time he told me that he mis-spoke on 1/5/2010 and that I did owe the interest. I was given no reason for his change in thought. In addition, during the installation, a panel was dropped onto my deck. When trying to catch the panel, an installer stepped on and broke my gutter. I have a neighbor and my husband who witnessed the dropped panel and broken gutter. At the time of the installation, the workers tried to fix the gutter but where not sure that the gutter was fixed. They left me a tube of silicone if it was not fixed. Because of a death in the family, I left Victor on 8/14/09 and did not return until 12/14/2009. At that time, I discovered that the gutter was not fixed and did leak. When speaking to the owner on 1/6/2010, I mentiioned about the broken gutter and asked him where I should send the bill for fixing my gutter. I asked if he planned to pay for fixing the gutter and he stated that he was not sure if he would or not.
