I called for an appointment to have my dogs regular vaccines Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella along with a wellness exam which was all I wanted. My husband was taking the dog since he was home from work what we got was what I had requested plus the scare tactic up sell so my husband agreed to all these tests that we neither needed or wanted, so my $130 bill became $300. They also talked my husband into a Lepto vaccine that we had never done nor wanted to and will never do again. There are far more cons than pros for this and I just hope my dog does not get sick from this. More fool my husband for agreeing but had they just done what we asked this would never had been an issue. I would never go back to these people they are good but this scare tactic to get you to agree to things that are unnecessary is just wrong seems like a money making tactic to me and we paid the price.

. They are great. To do a blood test on parrots they need to be anesthetized and I was expecting the bill to be higher. The dog is a lot cheaper when I take him. I think all animal hospitals in general are great. The veterinarians and the ones who work for them are all really very special people and that is across the board. So I don?t expect anything. The staff is real pleasant and the doctors are very nice too. I find them to be very capable. Dr Hayes and Dr. Myers are the two older doctors there. Dr. Hayes does the exotic as well as the cats and dogs. He is very knowledgeable. They are all very friendly and pleasant. It is a fun place. They have a day care for dogs. It is an old place. It has been there since 1954 and has comfortable waiting room and plays DVDS with sound turned down so you can watch. They also have reading material too. I would continue to go there in the future. I find their prices very fair. I have had the birds for a while and I have lived in other places, and it is expensive to care for the birds and take them to the doctor. It is also hard to find a vet that knows what he is doing. You cannot take a bird to any vet just round the corner. That is why I go to ARAPAHOE ANIMAL HOSPITAL and that is why I decided to take my dog there too. My dog has some health problems and I know he is in good hands.

I have used these vets for years and pleased everytime

My dog has an ongoing problem. I have always been able to get him an appointment on short notice. The vets are all great, and are able to provide a number of services on site. I want to mention that I also take my parrots to Dr Hayes for check ups and nail trims. The price is very good.

They are wonderful. I like the doctors because they are very caring.

I can get in for an appointment when I want, pretty much. This appointment was made 2 days in advance around my schedule. When I get there, I am usually put into a room in about a minute or two. They have a large, friendly staff and the environment is very warm feeling. I like that it doesn't feel like a hospital. We like this place well enough to travel a bit farther instead of using a place closer to us.

RECEPTION COURTEOUS, WAIT TIME TO GET APPOINTMENT AND TO SEE VET ONCE THERE WAS MINIMAL. VET TECH AND VET HANDLED MY DOG IN A FIRM BUT GENTLE WAY. ALL PROCEDURES AND FUTURE RECOMMEDATIONS WERE EXPLAINED TO ME.

I think they are overpriced. They are probably in the range typically charged by vets to board cats. My cat hates it there, but that's probably not their fault.

I've gone to another vet with my other dog, thinking that this one, who we like a lot and have used for years, was getting a little expensive. It seemed like they were always recommending lots of expensive tests and procedures, while we prefer to take a more conservative approach to spending money on our pets. But now I believe that they are really trying to work with us on the charges, as they didn't charge us for the exam and nail trim, just the vaccinations. I may be bringing my other dog back here also.

Dr. Barrios is very attentive and sensitive to our dogs needs. She spends extra time with her 'vet' fears and is compassionate and loving with animals. We have received consistent and positive professional care for our dog.
