I have used this mover previously and they were fairly good except one of the guys smelled like weed. So I used them again and I felt completely ripped off. They overcharged the travel time and were incredibly slow. The owner was barely moving anything and would casually move items. the second person was working consistently at an average pace but not great. The job should have been no longer than 3 hours max with travel time. However, they charged me for 3.75 hours. I left my garage at the same time they did and I ended up waiting 30 minutes for them at the end location, which is a 35 minute drive at the most 40 minutes. The job was early so there was not any traffic. I even instructed them to go the highway because it would be quicker. I felt like they were not out for a continued customer and working with me but trying to penny and dime me and overcharge. They said they gave me a 10% discount for the delay in travel time and slow moving, I ended up paying more.
I would not put myself in a situation again where I am being ripped off. I am big on referrals, especially with mover because they are so hard to find. But if the owner is trying to extend his services for a mornings work, I would not trust him again to do a large job where he would make more $$$$.
I hope they learn that customer service is the best course of action in any situation. There are plenty of movers and the customer you take care of today, will be your customer and refer you tomorrow.
I gave a good review once but now I am not continuing my trust in this company.
The best thing this company could do to save face and prove they are a customer service mover is to reimburse me for an hour of the move and work with continued effective, efficient and timely moving services. Trust is earned.
