ABF U-PACK MOVING

I can't even begin to explain how disappointed I am in U-pack and the company that they hired on our behalf moving staffers. They caused damage to over 60% of our property, and what I am estimating at 20K+ in damage. The service of U-pack was horrible from the start, when working with us, they gave us a quote and were completely off in the amount of space we needed in a truck, we ended up needing twice as much space as they apparently don't know how to estimate properly. Then we had several scheduling issues. They gave us estimated delivery windows which were also incorrect. But most notably was referring us to Moving Staffers who sub contracts work out to other companies who don't seem to have a good rating who have no regard to clients personal property and loaded things in the truck so bad that we had so much damage to our property. These guys were horrible, and for the cost we should have used a company that does it all for you.

I was searching for a moving company to transport my personal items across the country using a moving container. U-Pack was the first number I called when I went to compare movers. They were so extremely friendly, professional, helpful & accommodating, that I decided to go with them and end my search. The entire process went super smooth, starting with that initial phone call. Each person I spoke to at different times throughout the move was just as friendly & helpful. They dropped the container off at my Wyoming address on the specified date & even called on their way to let us know about what time they would be there. Once they arrived, they dropped the container at my door for easy access. Then as specified, they picked it up 3 days later. It took them several days to drive it to West Virginia (destination), which was expected. Once they got to WV, they took it to their terminal nearest to my destination address & called me to let me know it had arrived so that we could schedule a drop-off date to my convenience. On the drop-off day, they arrived to the specified address at the specified time (even with a phone call to let me know they were on their way). They dropped the container at my door for easiest access. Then what they do is they either leave the container there for 3 days to give you time to unload it, or they do a "live unload" which means they will just wait there for one hour while you unload, then take the container away. I chose the "live unload" because I only had a couple rooms worth of items in the container & I had some help. So we unloaded in an hour & away they went. Everything arrived intact with only a few minor 'injuries', but I think those could have been avoided if all of the items had been better secured when packing. This was a great moving experience & I would definitely recommend U-Pack to anyone in the market for a mover. Thanks U-Pack!!

It is a moving truck rental.  They were fantastic.  They gave us a quote for moving us and they came out.  They were on time at both ends, at both times, at picking up and delivering which was pretty amazing considering there is nearly 1700 miles separating both the places.  The most important thing was that they were very prompt.  They showed up exactly when they said they would at the departure point and arrived exactly when they said that they would almost to the minute at both ends which is just amazing.  We will use them again.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any company. I have never felt so taken advantage of before in my life. They under estimated the move by $2000 not a small amount for anyone. If you are going to do estimates may be they should come out to the house like every other moving company. The people they hired in Fort Lauderdale Florida were very unprofessional. They arrived without the proper equipment and had to borrow my handcart and tools. They did such a poor job loading the trailer that a dozen of our furniture items were damaged. Also I had tools that they told me they loaded not show up in Colorado. On a positive note the trailer showed up on the dates they  said and the people in Denver were professional. There phone representatives told us it wasn’t there problem my tools went missing. I WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND THEM TO ANYONE.  Once agin move builders has not taken responsibility for there mistakes. We submitted a claim for the items they damaged and that were missing and they claim it's not there fault there people didn't wrap and load our furniture properly. we didn't ask for much shame on you once more BEWARE OF ABF FREIGHT & MOVE BUILDERS

They were very polite and kind. There were some logistical issues and some miscommunications, but they were really good about fixing them. It?s probably a good idea to hire a separate moving company that helps people come and actually move all our stuff into the truck. The only service ABF U-Pack Moving provided was park the truck in front of our house, and we had to load it up. They were pretty good at it and nothing broke. The moving service that they provide comes at a crazy additional cost. I wanted them to actually move my stuff in, but it would?ve cost quite a bit, so I didn?t do it. They are excellent for shipping things. I have friends who have used ABF before, and they had hired another moving company to come and pack everything and put in the truck.

They are very good! They did what they said they were going to. They gave me some very good advice on how to pack and tie off the load. Things went extremely smooth after the driver that delieverd it the first time showed up. They got the stuff there promptly. They deliverd and dorpped off exactly how they said they were going to. They did everything they said they were going to. We were very pleased with them. They did what they promised. They didn't charge us any extra.

I thought that the whole experience turned out pretty well. They did have a problem bringing the storage unit up our driveway with the forklift that they brought. Given the equipment the man was had, he did the best that he could and was helpful. Not much damage occurred in the cross country drive, so we will probably use them again when we go back in a year.
