Marc is a real pro with very high standards. Immediately he struck me as someone who has a very high work ethic and demands only the best from himself and his crew. He was trained in upstate NY where codes seem to be more strict. He applies these high standards to all his work.When moving up and down the ladder he accidentally stepped on and broke a sprinkler hear. He immediately owned up to it and went to Home Depot, got the parts and fixed it then and there.The day I call was the day he showed up and did all the work. No waiting. I couldn't have hoped for better service and outcome.

I have had a leak from my top floor bathroom fan for the last year and thanks to 1st Responseit is finally fixed. The roofer that attempted the fix before was not able to fix the problem and became unresponsive to our requests to come back and fix it again. We decided to give up on them.
Marc from 1st Response was recommended to me by a friend and I'm really glad I heard about him. Marc was very responsive to my call and came out the next day.  He took a look at the area around the bathroom vent and offered to remove shingles in that area to find the cause of the leak and repair it while also replacing the vent cover with the proper one for $150.  This was very reasonable since we had spent more with the previous company that did not even fix the problem.  Marc also pointed out the many issues with workmanship that he saw with the previous roofers work.
Marc came out two days later to do the work and was eager to show his high quality workmanship.  I went up to see his work and he showed me issues with the shingles removed and proceeded to show me the better materials that he uses. After he was done, I asked if we should bring a hose on the roof to test that the leak is fixed.  He said yes and his fix worked.
I will not let anyone else but Marc on my roof again.  His workmanship and ethics are way above others in his field.
