BE READY WHEN YOU WANT TO CANCEL SERVICE: All I wanted to do today was cancel my service. Sounds simple right. I guess they have a hard cancel tactics in place. I could not believe that NO ONE was available to cancel my service by phone. They said it had to be a Supervisor and they were all in a meeting. I said go get one out of the meeting and help a customer. The person on the phone said no.. that she would put me on a list and they might be able to get back to me today but no promise.... I have NEVER had a company tell me they had to call me back later to cancel my service and that there was NO supervisor available. I mean NEVER. I own a multi million dollar business and we WOULD NEVER do that even if a person wanted to cancel. Go get the person and do everything to try and keep the business... but for sure don't put the cancel person off to tomorrow... or even an hour. HOW WAS THE SERVICE IN MY HOME: (The Only reason I gave them 2 stars and not 1) Service over all.... it was okay. But not the best ever and techs just were not good at really knowing how to fix a prob or actually make you feel they would. Guys... you in someones personal home, make them feel secure in knowing you do know how to fix it and you will. Then call and get help from someone in your company if you don't. WHAT DID I LEARN: That I really prefer a mom & pop service when it comes to my home pest control. I want to know the tech is very capable and knows how to fix the prob now and is the same person all the time. Especially when it comes to someone coming into my home and working on it often. But that is just me.... and what I learned about myself. WILL I USE THEM AGAIN: No! Just don't like the service and style I guess. I give business to people that have top customer service and support and you know they are good at it. Also, you feel really good about the service they are doing in your home. But thats just my preference. I thought it was a good deal when i signed up... but it is not for me.

We had a pocket gopher invade our back yard, and dug several holes. Edge came out, set traps, and they were gone! We also set up a quarterly service for pest control, and since the service began, we have seen a lot fewer spiders and wasps even with the warm fall and winter that we are having.

Was shading about their contracts. Still have huge issue. 1st tech didn't know where to put bait box, when question b/c dog ate it he played dumb. 2nd tech was better but even talked about how bad first tech was. NO PRIOR NOTICE TO SERVICE except as tech was en route on a Saturday. Had to change plans on the fly b/c of lack of notice. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE when you call. Not results and service oriented. Just wants your money.

Non local company focused on sales and getting into a year long agreement rather than listening to your needs and handling those . It’s a sales pitch and not customer service oriented . After calling to tell them they performed the wrong service, they told me I would be refunded. Here we are 2 months later and they still wont refund me. Instead they keep calling me trying to get me to sign up for their year program and accept the apology. This company is run by someone who doesn't know what the heck they are doing or how to properly communicate. They keep sending people out to my house for "follow up" visits. Each time I tell the person they wasted their time, and that I cancelled. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Its just a sales scam to try and lock you into a year long contract. They don't keep their word. Not a good look for this company to be on homeadvisor.

I bought a fixer-upper in August 2016 - was infested with wasps and all sorts of bugs and beetles [as well as 2 snakes and a skunk]. Edge came out and CAREFULLY looked over everything, gave me an estimate and I hired them on the spot. It took 3 treatments to get the wasps and hornets under control but it worked :) They carefully sprayed inside and out to ensure we had everything covered. I was also beginning construction so that kept stirring up anything that might have been 'sleeping' - so when I needed an extra visit for any of those things - they came right back out and took care of it. I ultimately bought a long-term quarterly contract with them - and they have been GREAT. I also added a lawn-care package from them a couple months ago as I put in new sod - they winterized my lawn in September and will be back to ramp-up my yard come spring 2018. All of their people have been truly a pleasure to work with - on time and always prepared. AND A BIG PLUS ---- their products are pet friendly so I know my boy is safe!!! Thank you!!!!

hired them due to the fact we found a hole in the outside wall and needed to eliminate pest that had managed to get inside the house. first visit went rather well. after making sure the guy who came out understood that service was for inside we get charged for a follow up visit with the person checking the outside traps. no actual contact was made with home owner and NOTHING was done on the inside, you know the entire reason for hiring them in the first place. highly disappointed with them as a company and their lack of communication. Stuck in a 1 year contract that will never be renewed.

I had to take a phone call at the exact moment when the gentleman arrived at my home. I didn?t receive a call prior to alert me he was coming, and it was pretty clear he wasn?t going to wait. The call was incredibly important, and of a medical nature so I couldn?t ask them to call back. The man swept through my house, told me it was very clean and he didn?t see any problems. He set a few traps outside and proceeded to go- I had to sign everything for him while I was on the phone. It was chaotic and hasty. I was also told they would check the attic, which the gentleman did *not* do. He said he didn?t even have a ladder so I?d need to schedule another appointment. I hung up the phone as quickly as I could after he left and asked him to come back in and could he please just explain what he did...? I also had him set a few more traps in the garage. It was very fast, and I felt like he wasn?t as thorough with the inspection of my house because I wasn?t living in filth with an obvious problem. Disappointing.

Edge was able to give us back our patio by taking care of our Wasp problem. Their communication is very good, and they have flexed with our schedule as needed for routine visits. I definitely recommend them.

Be sure to get clarity on the cost of the services beforehand. I don't feel this company was upfront about costs (i.e., instead of paying for a single home visit, I was told that the cost would be several hundred dollars including multiple visits to ensure the problem didn't persist). I ended up getting the service done, but I was not happy with the lack of communication upfront about what the services would cost me.
